Anthony Edwards poured in 47 at Cleveland on Monday. A day later came the gut-punch: arthroscopic knee surgery, about two months out. Now the Wolves have to find out who they are without him, starting tonight against a Warriors team that's banged up too.

Anthony Edwards went for 47 in Cleveland and the Wolves still lost. They grabbed 54 boards, led by 15, and gave it all back. Rudy Gobert pulled 20 rebounds and went 0-for-9. First loss of the year, and it should sting.

For a week, the only way to watch the Timberwolves was an app you had to go find and pay for. DirecTV just put them back on a channel number, 668. The quiet part is who still can't get there at all.
