I know I’m late to the party, but I watched @TheTaleMovie last night and wow. It was spectacular yet incredibly unsettling. The structure of the film was genius. Was on my toes the whole time. Thanks @LauraDern and the rest of the cast & crew.

.@TheTaleMovie is as much about memory as it is about sexual abuse. The film, starring @LauraDern, attempts to tell the stories of child sexual abuse survivors as they cope with their childhood trauma as adults.

The Tale (2018) - IMDb - imdb.com/title/tt4015500/ Watched this last night. What a really tough film to watch but so riveting. I liked the way to was pieced together and presented. Laura Dern was fantastic. Some time you have to watch the tough films to broaden your outlook.

Just finished watching @TheTaleMovie and my heart is just broken. I highly recommended it, but watch it in chunks - to say the movie is upsetting is an understatement. But it’s what happened to me and so many other poor, innocent children
