Lula wins fourth term in Brazil runoff.
Incumbent Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) defeated Flávio Bolsonaro (PL) in Yesterday’s presidential runoff in Brazil, taking ~51.8% (about 64.3 million votes) to Bolsonaro’s ~48.2% (about 59.8 million)—margin: roughly 4.4 million votes.
It is the first modern Brazilian election (since 1989) in which a candidate who finished second in the first round reversed the result in the runoff. Flávio had led the October 4 first round (~47% to Lula’s ~45%).
Flávio Bolsonaro has refused to concede and says he will seek to annul the result, citing a last-minute court decision that extended voting by two hours. The Superior Electoral Court (TSE) has called the race for Lula.
Note: Over 100 million people voted in this election, and the result came out the same day of the election! This can never me my country!🥲

This must be rage bait… Solar can do virtually everything you mentioned.
My solar is about 2.5 million but it powers 2 fridges, an AC, and every electrical appliance in the house. It may not carry all at the same time, but over time I have learnt how to manage my power by getting inverter-friendly electrical appliances. I have never used a generator since 2023.
Wait o, all of una wey dey shout solar, na solar una dey use pump water? Una dey use solar power fridge, freezer, and AC at the same time? I am asking this cus these are the things I use my gen for basically.
Personally, I will advice you buy a good generator with high power and add a reasonable solar on the side. Solar runs the daily minor electrical needs and the generator runs the big loads when it is needed. Especially when you stay in an area with poor electricity supply.

I understand what is happening.. Peller still hasn't realized that not everyone is passionate about Online streaming. I made this same mistake at some point. Because they are your siblings, in-laws, or relatives and you want the best for them, that doesn't mean you should force them into online streaming or a vocation that isn't thier choice. Channel them into something they are passionate about; e.g., they might not be good with Live streaming but they may be good behind the camera as crew or content writers. That is how you manage people.

Seven Ghanaian fishermen who went missing since October 9, 2026 have been rescued safe and sound following a multi-nation search-and-rescue operation across the Gulf of Guinea.
The crew originally set out on a fishing expedition from Sekondi to Axim, in the Western Region of Ghana, aboard the canoe “Second Chance”.
However, an outboard motor breakdown left the fishermen at the mercy of winds and sea currents, causing the canoe to drift eastward through international maritime zones and into Benin waters.
Following a coordinated regional effort between the Ghana Maritime Authority, the Ghana Navy, the Togo Navy, the Benin Navy, and regional Maritime Coordinating Centres, including CRESMAO, MMCC Zone F, MMCC Zone E, and Navy MOCs, the fishermen were located and rescued by a combined team of the Benin Navy and a local Benin fishermen association at about 10:36 pm Ghana time on Wednesday, October 21, 2026.
They were handed over to the Togo Navy at 11:11 pm that same night, and subsequently transferred to the Ghana Navy off Aflao at 06:49 GMT on Thursday, October 22, 2026.
DSS OPERATIVES REPORTEDLY KILL TWO SUSPECTED ATTACKERS IN GUNFIGHT WITH CONVOY OF EBONYI OPPOSITION CANDIDATE
Social media personality and critic from Ebonyi State, Chika Nwaoba, has reported that two suspected attackers died following a gunfight involving operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) attached to Barrister Rollins Offia Nwali, a House of Assembly candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for Ezza South Constituency.
In a Facebook update on Friday, October 23, Nwaoba alleged that 12 armed men ambushed Nwali’s convoy on Thursday, October 22, while the candidate was returning from a political rally in Amaezekwe community, Ezza South Local Government Area of Ebonyi State.
According to Nwaoba, the attackers opened fire on the convoy, prompting the DSS operatives accompanying the candidate to respond, resulting in an exchange of gunfire.
He claimed that one of the suspected attackers was shot dead during the confrontation, while another was rushed to a hospital but later died from his injuries. The remaining 10 suspects reportedly sustained varying degrees of injuries and fled the scene.
Nwaoba further quoted the candidate as saying that a Hilux vehicle in the convoy was burnt during the incident.
However, the claims contained in the Facebook post have not been independently verified, and there was no official statement from the security agencies or other relevant authorities included in the account.
Reacting to the alleged attack, Nwaoba criticised what he described as the failure of some young people to pursue education, vocational skills, apprenticeships and agriculture, arguing that such choices had contributed to their involvement in violence.
