When you've done right by them their entire lives, you'll find the perfect ending.
Don't be too sad; you did your job.
In light of The Inevitable, and the multitude of ways it can arrive, this was a success story.
I just got this email. Yeah, ok.
I doubt anyone following is too interested in Starlink β at least anyone who also doesn't already have it. But here's my referral code anyway in case someone is, because we're better off getting the bonus than not.
I genuinely like my Starlink connection. It's not perfect, and it has gotten slower over the years (and more expensive), but it's still literally the fastest internet available to me. The same might be true for you. Their support is actually really good, too.

I should also say that I play all my games and do my streaming via this connection. The pings are really low (better than fixed wireless NBN, I'm told), and the connection is generally really stable and consistent, even through rain (shitloads better than 4G+, even aggregated).
They have the primary, fixed address option with a larger dish, and a smaller, more portable dish you can use with a roam plan that lets you use it anywhere you have a view of the sky. I've got both, and I am happy with them, even after the price hikes. I use the mini any time I go away, and don't game much on it, but (in my experience) it'll play all the media I want with zero noticeable slowdown from congestion during long weekends, while mobile 4G towers get clogged and I can't even load Facebook.
I can game from literally anywhere now. My childhood brain could not have imagined this. It truly feels like magic.
When not in use, I just cancel the mobile plan and store it away. They do have an option for unlimited low speed data for aud$15/mo "pause" plan, which would probably work well for a low fps security camera or solar trail cam, but I haven't really tested that. Don't expect to watch YouTube on the pause plan, though. At least not in HD.
Happy to answer any questions about my experience with them.
I see what people have been talking about in #WARDOGS - the dirty windshield. Why is it so bad?
Reminds me of BF3, how people argued for lens flares by saying it was your character's glasses. If I were that soldier, I'd take the damn glasses off!
Can we get a microfiber unlock?
Sorry, but this is shit.

Sorry, but this is shit.

Permabanning anyone for anything less than malicious hacking is unfair. The rules are changing so rapidly, you can't expect anyone not binging your social media accounts to keep up.
The definition of "bannable exploit" is so loose and subjective, how are we supposed to know what's ok? We've seen some exploits get a green light until patched, while others now result in permabans?
People will say just "don't exploit anything". But this is a sandbox game; we're supposed to push the mechanics to the limit... that's the entire premise of the genre?
Imo, you guys should be encouraging people to break shit. Get the data on how it happens, then solidly patch it out before 1.0 release.
Yes, it'll suck on occasion for gamers, and put pressure on the team to get these patches out β but that's literally the point of early access, is it not?
When players are using and abusing the things they find, a permanent ban is not the solution. You just shut down creativity.
You're responsible for what's in the game for players to find in the first place. You should be handing out rewards for us exploring the mechanics and giving you more data to work with, not threatening bans.

Perfectly Said.
People are out of their damn minds.
Insufferable.
Still going to avoid unlocking the monocular spotting scope in #wardogs in season 2
It's so redundant and inferior that there's literally no reason to spend the 7k to get it. Just hold out until the range finder which is better in every way.
If the range finder were fixed zoom, or even if the scope offered a minimum of 2 while the range finder got the 3x minimum, there would remain a reason to take it, but as it stands it's just a gadget taking up a space in the store that is better off not being purchased.
Holy shit, battlefield is dead, long live battlefield.
Seriously though, this could kill whatever EA cooks up next. The modding community alone has blown me away time and time again. Can't wait to see what can be achieved with this.

Hollow threats don't always qualify as harassment, but continually stalking you after you've tried to disengage, does. That's when it crosses the line from banter to intent to cause harm, and you're well within your right to report them for that.
This culture of everyone must go out of their way to stop my bullies is getting out of hand. I get it, I do, but there's an amount of personal growth that comes from exposure to this stuff as well.
I get pissed off when I die to someone who stands on my body and calls me names as well. But I also get over it. I literally forget before I'm back in the cz.
If people are griefing, report them. If they're trash talking and you don't want to hear it, just mute them. If it crosses the line to actual harassment, then sure they need to be handled, but before that, you're copping the same shit we all do.
Why would you even want to make people act nice, when you know how they really feel underneath? My friend group would call out virgins - just find a community of people who would do the same, or who run a server that actually has rules against it.
Not gonna lie...
The amount of harassment I receive in @WARDOGS via chat, VOIP, and gameplay just because Iβm a woman is becoming too much. It happens almost every game, and itβs the main reason I haven't been streaming as much lately.
I don't even have to say a word. They see my name and start. They yell over VOIP, block my movement, try to crash me, and some even switch teams just to hunt me down again.
And no - I shouldn't be the one forced to change my nickname, mute everything, or hop servers. It is not my job to manage the fragile egos of these boys - because no real man acts like this.
Something has to change. I hope WARDOGS can lead the way in making gaming safer and better for women.
Enjoying the Steam Frame a lot, but wishing I got the larger storage edition. I am using it exclusively standalone so far, I did not expect this. Flatscreen on basically a personal cinema screen is genuinely cool. I'll have to go and grab a decent SD card for my woes, lmao.
Wait, there's no way to vs just my friend in @Fuse_Games #StarWars #GalacticRacer? I still play N64 pod racer with my mate, a simple 1v1...
There needs to be a full custom PRIVATE match option, with as many friends as you want, and the ability to turn off AI racers. Have a party of 6? Allow it, even if it's a segmented non-ranked section or whatever.
The community that could be built around this game could be massive, with tournaments and prizes, but the devs need to open the game to allow for this.
Even just being able to race by yourself on any track to practice. This needs, needs, needs to be done. You're alienating the existing fanbase of this franchise, don't screw this up!
I won't be buying on release, pending news of both this and denuvo - two major things that need to be addressed.

Replying to @usa_specialist
BF5 was the result of so much that we asked for, and players boycotted it because they didn't like the trailer.
Attrition in the form of limited ammo and health, being able to resupply from flags instead of begging teammates, maps designed with areas for simultaneous vehicle and infantry cqb combat, weapons that could actually be controlled during fire (the sights always pointed where the bullets went), enter vehicle animations, the ability to build fortifications and defences, largely the removal of 3d spotting and a proper role for recon, warning players when they had been spotted, high bullet velocities (started in bf1), reintroduction of weapon customisation, deeper vehicle customisation, battle royale, immersive spawns at match start, the best vehicle physics frostbite has ever had, no manpad lockons and a return to powerful fixed antiair, truck-towable defences like aa and at arty, actual mannable artillery on some maps (throwback to bf Vietnam), better class identities across the board.
Yes they kept women in the game, and featured things like amputees in the campaign - but this was just more of them trying to satisfy everybody by adding things that were requested by the community. And what did the community do? threw it in their face. Players made up their minds over marketing material, like they always do - like how they decide to pre-order stuff that has a good trailer. Then people got emotionally invested in that decision, and boycotted it for years.
The game never even saw its eastern front expansion. THE Battlefield game where the devs listened to players the most, and the message they received was "never listen to the players".
So that's what they're doing, going by the data, the actual numbers. Y'all deserve BF6.
