While, technically, being deeply engrossed in reading is an example of mild dissociation, this incorrectly applies the psychological context of coping with stress/trauma or struggling with psychosis. Pathologising normal behaviour is trivialising to those with real disorders.

It is... utterly unconscionable how many people are happy to be getting a result where the only outcome is 'people I hate will suffer', ignoring the fact that they will ALSO suffer. So long as the people they hate suffer more and sooner.
