I wake up to a historic ass whoopin’ of the republicans. This is a thing that I have been screaming about since the bringing stages of 2025. No longer can you maintain your seats by sitting on your ass. We expect you to go to Congress, with the republican platform and do it; not just talk about doing it. What that should have looked like for the last two years was make the Democrats physically filibuster you- like stand up and read the dictionary for five days straight. You didn’t do that and you paid for it. It is no longer good enough to say the right thing at the right time to pay lip-service to your constituents. We the people are more informed than ever before and we are tired of it. Maybe you’ll get another Chance in 2028. Learn this lesson well.

Vote; even if you have to hold your nose to do it. To abstain is to defile the sacrifice of those who gave the last full measure at the altar freedom.

I realize now that not everybody is switched onto this; so here is what I mean: There is a lot of virtue signaling going around about which companies should be supported and which ones should not be. This is a perfectly acceptable practice in my mind when it comes to second amendment companies. However, if you are going to do that, then you have to be consistent.

Finally took some time out and watched TopGun Maverick. It was refreshing to get a film that unapologetically American. It’s not the best movie I’ve ever seen but it was the best movie I’ve seen this year. Tom Cruise did a great job on this one and I think the hybrid filming style will age well. There are much worse ways to spend 2 hrs

I handle guns around my dog every day. I rarely shoot in his presence because I don’t want to hurt his ears (only suppressed low caliber stuff). He knows what they are and they make booms. He knows where they go boom (range) but is okay there because there are a lot of sticks. Other scenarios like if there is something that needs killing- he will wait until after the booms to mess with that thing-probably because it’s a lot easier after the booms. For the most part when I have a boom maker in my hand he completely ignores it. There are a few exceptions. For some reason he is utterly terrified of MP5s. I have never fired one of these in his presence; not one single time. His aversion to that type of gun is exceptional: all I have to do is pick one up and he hides, will not come, will not obey any commands. I can set it down and pick up an AR-15 and he is back to normal. I have no idea.

Abraham Lincoln was literally the first Republican president. The democrats in the south literally formed the confederacy.

I don’t know who needs to hear this but it is apparently a lot of people. Suppressors are not coming down in price in any meaningful way any time soon. The market was just 50-100X’d. If anything they may increase in price in the short term. If the changes in regulation hold for 3 or 4 years, then yes- that is when we will see prices racing to the bottom. These aluminum trash-grade cans will not last long term use and abuse. Using them as an indicator of a market trends is brainless.
