As a part of the TN Khoshoo Memorial Award and Lecture, we will be releasing the book -"Design Principles for Ecosystem Restoration "
The book synthesises 28 years of working towards halting, preventing and reversing the accelerated degradation of India's ecosystems. It proposes a framework of design principles for restoration that aligns with international best practices. The book also brings together critical insights from ATREE’s on-ground experience of working with diverse ecosystems, communities and associated stakeholders. The case studies highlight the different socio-ecological trajectories that the sites have witnessed and can serve as critical reference points for future restoration activities.
