Moving Bitcoin between hardware wallets?
In my latest video, I demonstrate real transfers between Ledger, Tangem, and Trezor, plus USDC transfers, cross-chain swaps, and a few troubleshooting surprises.
No theory. Real transactions, real devices, and real mistakes.
The basic principle is always the same: get the receiving address, verify everything, and start with a small test transfer.

🚨 Ledger Spy Chip Attack UPDATE
Ledger has released more details about the supply-chain attack and outlined stricter reseller procedures.
I break down the investigation, the German findings, the unresolved questions, and the new Ledger Atom.
Don't panic. Don't dismantle your wallet.

Should you take apart your Ledger Nano X to look for spy chips? 🔍
I'm seeing people recommend exactly that following the CryptoBilis incident.
I disagree. For most owners, there are 3 more practical things to consider:
• Which model you own
• How long you've owned it
• Where you bought it
Here's what we know, what remains unconfirmed, and how to assess your risk without panic.

🚨 AI could break Bitcoin cryptography in MONTHS?
Ethereum researcher Justin Drake is warning crypto holders to prepare for “bunker mode.”
But should you really move your Bitcoin and Ethereum?
Vitalik Buterin warns that botched wallet migrations can be more dangerous than hacks.
And scammers are going to LOVE the phrase “bunker mode.”
I break down the actual risks, public-key exposure, and what hardware-wallet owners should do.

🔐 A Trezor passphrase can add another powerful layer of security to your Bitcoin.
But one typo can create an entirely different wallet.
And if you forget your passphrase?
There is NO reset button.
In my latest video, I'll show you step-by-step how to create a Trezor passphrase wallet, fund it with a small test transaction, and make sure you can access it again BEFORE moving significant funds.
Security is important.
But complexity can become the enemy of security.

Ledger just added native shielded Zcash support. 🔐
I tested it with real ZEC.
In my new tutorial I show how to:
→ Set up the new Ledger Zcash app
→ Receive ZEC
→ Move transparent ZEC → private
→ Migrate ZEC from the older shielded wallet setup

Criminal money. Mt. Gox. Ponzi scheme. Tulip mania. Government bans. Electricity. Regulation.
For more than a decade, each was offered as a reason Bitcoin wouldn’t survive. My new video revisits the headlines and what happened next—focusing on the network, not its price.

🚨 CRYPTO SECURITY UPDATE
🔐 D'CENT is investigating unauthorized transfers involving its software App Wallet. D'CENT says its hardware wallets are NOT affected when used normally.
📧 Trezor says 347,149 newsletter email addresses were exported in the Brevo attack.
⚠️ Expect follow-up phishing.
Never give anyone your seed phrase, private key or PIN. Never send funds to a “recovery” address sent through a DM.

⚠️ DCENT WALLET SECURITY UPDATE
DCENT is investigating abnormal asset transfers involving its software-only DCENT App Wallet.
So far, there is NO evidence that DCENT hardware wallets themselves have been affected.
If you use a DCENT hardware wallet with the DCENT app and have NEVER entered or restored your hardware wallet’s recovery phrase into the App Wallet, DCENT says no action is required for your hardware wallet.
🚨 Important exception: If you have ever imported that recovery phrase into the software App Wallet, follow DCENT’s instructions: update the app before making any transactions, then move the assets to a secure wallet that has never shared that recovery phrase.
And PLEASE be on guard for scammers taking advantage of this situation. DCENT will never ask for your recovery phrase/private key or tell you to send your crypto to a “recovery” or “compensation” address. Ignore DMs, emails, links or wallet addresses claiming otherwise.
This is also a good reminder of why I’m such a strong believer in hardware wallets: keep your private keys offline and never type your hardware wallet recovery phrase into a software wallet. 🔐
Stay safe, guys. 👍
The CLARITY Act probably would have been good for the crypto markets, and I certainly wouldn’t have complained about a nice pump. 😄
But I also had concerns that it was becoming a bigger win for big business and government surveillance than for the average crypto holder.
Here’s the good news: Bitcoin doesn’t need permission from Congress to keep producing blocks. And you don’t need the CLARITY Act to hold your own keys.
Self-custody continues. As it should. 🔐
Moving crypto wallet-to-wallet doesn't take 11 minutes.
If I were doing this ETH transfer on my own, it would probably take me a minute or two.
I deliberately slow it down so I can explain exactly WHAT I'm doing and WHY I'm doing it.
With practice, the entire process takes just a few minutes.

🔐 NEW INTERVIEW: I sit down with Jan Komárek, Head of Security at Trezor, for an in-depth discussion about hardware wallet security.
We talk entropy and seed generation, the Trezor Safe 7, dice rolling, passphrases, multisig, self-custody, and much more.
There have also been some important developments since we recorded the interview, so I’ve included links to the latest updates in the description and pinned comment.

🚨 Trezor & BitBox users were hit with an unusually convincing phishing attack.
The scary part? 😳 The emails were sent through legitimate email infrastructure, so they could actually look authentic.
🔐 Trezor & BitBox wallets were NOT hacked.
Trezor says ~2,500 people clicked the malicious link within about 20 minutes.
I break down the Brevo breach, how the attack worked & what to do if you clicked the link or entered your seed phrase. 👇
