if you watch clips of actors recording va lines, you'll notice that classically trained actors will have a ton of movement and expression in their body while speaking, meanwhile most voice only actors will rarely move at all. i genuinely believe this affects the line delivery.

Remembering a true voice acting legend 🙏
Mary Kay Bergman possessed an extraordinary vocal range that allowed her to disappear into dozens of characters. On South Park, she helped establish the show’s female cast during its earliest years, while her work also reached Disney, DC, Marvel, Scooby-Doo, Captain Planet, and many other animated favorites.
She was also the original voice of Timmy Turner, provided the original yodeling voice for Jessie in Toy Story, and voiced Snow White in various projects, audiobooks, and promotional appearances until her passing in November 1999.
