Today, on the third commemoration of the October 7 attack of barbarism on civilization, the International Legal Forum is launching its Dictionary of Terms.
This online resource is designed to remember, reclaim, and renew the foundational principles of the law that have been systematically hijacked, redefined, inverted, and weaponized.
The Dictionary of Terms emerges from a growing recognition that the erosion of language is not merely a semantic concern. When terms such as "genocide," "apartheid," "war crimes," and "crimes against humanity" are detached from their legal definitions and repurposed as weapons, the consequences extend far beyond the courtroom or classroom. The integrity of law itself risks collapse.

The war for hearts and minds is raging without ceasefire.
It has hijacked, redefined, inverted, and weaponized terms that were created to uphold and protect the post-World War II rules-based international order.

Who is the foreign power? Where is the imperial center? For whose benefit is the alleged “colony” maintained?
