Was this Florida plane crash report all one big distraction from something much bigger on the horizon?

Day 67. This is absolutely insane. @Revolut
67 days since my account was first restricted.
I have submitted EVERY document Revolut requested. I have cooperated fully. Yet I have received no meaningful update, no clear explanation, and no timeline for a resolution.
I still have over $27,000 in my investment account, but even a £5 transfer into it is being declined.
How is this acceptable from a financial institution trusted by millions?
67 DAYS. All documents submitted. Still no answers.

⚠️If you use Gmail, read this.
Scammers are hiding their messages inside REAL Google security alerts, so the emails pass the checks that normally catch fakes.
They type the scam text into the name of a Google app password, which makes Google send out a genuine, signed alert containing it.
Then they forward that alert to you.
One version flagged by the University of Michigan carried a fake $399 McAfee invoice and a phone number to call.
The real Google buttons in the email just open your own account page, where nothing looks wrong because nothing was breached.
That dead end is deliberate, leaving the scammer's phone number as the only "fix" left.
If an alert like this lands in your inbox, treat any phone number, reply request or button inside it as a red flag.
Even a genuine Google sender address is no longer proof that an alert is safe.

If I were the Financial Industrial Complex (FIC), and my objective was to maximise portfolio value for asset managers like BlackRock, Vanguard and State Street, here’s the strategy I’d consider.
1. FIC — The custody model
Launch Bitcoin ETFs, finance Bitcoin treasury companies and encourage the migration of Bitcoin from self-custody into institutional custody.
2. Military Industrial Complex (MIC) — The covert operations model
Use intelligence and cyber capabilities to conduct or exploit covert operations, creating uncertainty around the security of self-custody and exchanges outside FIC control.
3. Technical Industrial Complex (TIC) — The revenue model
Supply the AI, software and cybersecurity infrastructure used by both attackers and defenders.
Fuel an AI-driven cybersecurity arms race where every new attack creates demand for more expensive defences.
4. FIC — The endgame
Use the growing fear of hacks to promote institutional custody as the safer alternative.
More cybersecurity spending for TIC.
More security budgets for MIC.
More Bitcoin under institutional custody for FIC.
The attack creates the fear.
The defence generates the revenue.
The custody concentrates the control.
That’s how the incentives could align.
It doesn’t establish who conducted any particular hack or prove these institutions are coordinating them.
But it’s a useful framework for asking who benefits.
Follow the money.
Follow the custody.
Follow the control.

Gold might have just discovered its own infinite mint bug.
A US fusion startup claims it has successfully turned mercury into gold using nuclear transmutation.
If this technology ever becomes commercially viable, it raises a fascinating question:
What happens to gold's value if its supply is no longer as scarce as we thought?
Bitcoin has a major advantage here.
There will only ever be 21 million BTC. Nobody can change that supply cap.
The idea of digital gold suddenly becomes a lot more interesting.
