I do actually think Armorless Hardcore is very cool (not a fan of the name Naked & Afraid) but wow, both teams struggling with bad leaders sabotaging them for no reason is so dissapointing.
I just backed Microscope (2nd Edition) on @Kickstarter kickstarter.com/projects/lam…
5 year old pretends to record youtube videos for fun (doesnt seen interested that i also make YouTube videos but thats being a parent) in his latest “secret base video levels 1-100” i discovered he’s recently been buying kits from the dark web. Had to ask where did you hear that?
The amount of people in life that say “no” simply because its never been done, is unreal. Literally the best, highest agency thing you can do for yourself is stop saying “thats not possible” and just try. Infinite ROI on trying.
Tom Cruise says it originally took six hours for the “Digger” hair and makeup team to apply his Digger Rockwell prosthetics, but he quickly made the process “more efficient” by showing up with a chalkboard and timing how long it took to put each prosthetic on:
“I had a guy there with a stopwatch and I’m like, ‘OK, you see that time, six hours? By the time we’re done, we’re going to get it under an hour.’ They were like, ‘No, I’m not doing that, it will never happen.’ I’m like, ‘OK, first of all, if you say no, you can’t do it, you will never get there. So can we agree that we’ll maybe make it a little less?’ So with each piece that was going on, it was timed and then we’d drill and practice.”
It worked, and they eventually got his makeup and prosthetics routine down to under an hour: “They were like, ‘What?!’ And they didn’t even know it, and they didn’t even rush. I like going into a system, studying it and trying to figure out how I can do it better, more efficient. The films that I make, I’m constantly going, how can I do it better?”

Saw a comment about “you can make any NPC plot relevant by keep asking your DM questions about them” please dont do this. As a D&D expert, DM’s only make things up on the spot when they’re in extreme distress. Better to follow the plot hooks, keep questions to a minimum🤣
My dnd games are so unserious, because I built the duergar blackguard and her “nightmare” mule was the escape plan. After the party defeated her, they adopted the evil guy. He’s their mascot!
My players are starting to grow wise to my tricks. So Ive been making shit up. Got a fishbowl next to the computer with a bunch of names and plot hooks. I just reach in when i need some shit to go down, didnt see that coming? No me either honestly.
You ever have a D&D (or TTRPG) player that doesnt try and pick the lock, or bend the bars, but just goes after the hinges? Because It was not a part of the door I thought I needed to keep track of
Im supposed to be watching this video for inspiration to build a board. But i cant help but wonder, can we do this with TTRPG DMs? Get a few content creators to play in a one shot, and see what interesting videos come out of it.
twitch.tv/themdave Still 2 hours left of our new West Marches campaign! We just got a magic sword from a talking spider.
Why would a 43 second youtube short, where I added a song via shorts creation in the youtube mobile app get any content claim - doesnt that defeat the purpose of having a sounds library stocked with songs? @YouTube
