SURPRISE!!! Our new album “Slappers, Bangers & Certified Twangers: Volume One” is out now on @LosingSideRecs. It’s a ten song collection of some of our favorite 90’s country hits and we hope y’all enjoy listening to it as much as we enjoyed making it.

.@MartySmithESPN bustin out the @Shenandoahband rhymes on #MartyandMcgee this morning. reminder of our episode with Britt Spruill where we talked about “Next to You, Next to Me” (and RuPaul’s drag race) podcasts.apple.com/us/podcas…
I guess it’s a good thing that @MartySmithESPN is carrying on the 90s Country torch since we kinda dropped it last year...and also since we could probably never convince Kix Brooks or Mark Miller to be on our show... podcasts.apple.com/us/podcas…

so many awesome people involved in the Country Soul Songbook Summit, which starts Thursday afternoon! also, @billboard called our panel a highlight, which obviously means they're big fans of The House of Coxx but have never listened to our bullshit (both smart calls)
The inaugural Country Soul Songbook Summit will celebrate diverse voices and challenge existing power structures in country music. blbrd.cm/ks2H7uS

To the straight, white musicians and industry folks in the room:
Join me in co-signing for the Country Soul Songbook project in spotlighting BIPOC & LGBTQIA voices in Country and Americana music. It’s been incredible to watch this team (@kamarathomas @Loamlands @HeatherCooCoo )
