I've seen people asking: what's the incentive structure for smaller teams to build unique things if it will simply be poached?
My belief is that it remains unchanged.
You can steal as many ideas as you want, but IF you can't execute on the same level. You will ALWAYS be on the backfoot.
No matter how large you are in this space, once you are 'behind' enough times in a row you will lose dominance.
People want to be early, people want an edge, people want to profit. There is no loyalty to protocols.
This industry is a high stakes place for entrepreneurs. You can go from 0 to 100% share in a matter of 24 hours.
You can go from 100% to 10% in a matter of 24 hours.
I also believe having an oppressive force at the top will FORCE small teams to find completely absurd and unique solutions that will completely reshape and redefine tokenization.
Eventually the next 'big thing' will be born and so falls the hegemon standing in the way.
Capitalist markets will always favor the dominant capital interest and when the dominant interest changes so too does the market beliefs.
Getting much closer to a full release of Things V2.
Creating a much more streamlined deployer incentive program for serious teams that i'll be posting about later today.
We have secured a part time X intern to bolster social activity.
Founder Diary 1 later today.

I’ve been around @thingsmarket since day one building $THINGY, and I wanted to share my thoughts as one of the first people to use the platform
What @Linkkzyy and @jahad are building is different
They’re actually trying to fix a lot of what has made onchain trading worse and worse over the last few years. Endless slop launches, no repercussions for serial devs, copy traders, insane bundles, and platforms that win whether their users do or not
The idea behind Things is to build a better environment for traders, creators, and communities, and align the platform with the people actually using it
$THINGY has given me a front row seat to all of it
I’ve watched the team listen to feedback, fix problems, make changes, and keep building. There’s still a long way to go, but the vision is much bigger than just another launchpad
I’ve only ever been a part of three tokens: $THINGY, $KNOB, and $BENJI. The other two both went on to hit $20M+, and after everything I’ve seen being built behind the scenes, I’m more bullish on Things Market than ever
Proud for $THINGY to be the mascot and the first token ever launched on @thingsmarket
Everyone wants to see change, but nobody wants to endure the struggles that come with trying to create it
Give @Linkkzyy and @jahad a chance to make meaningful change in the trenches. Tell a friend, support the tokens, use the platform, Share your feedback
Things Market is just getting started
The opening debate was centered around, value economies being a thing of the past. It's an attention market - crime a token - get eyes and then change the perception.
I spoke about some idea's we spoke about not long ago.
Attention needs a real catalyst built on merit, not manufactured hype that collapses once the money dries up. More over, attention will always rotate - without a real group of people who believe in your platform no matter how much attention you attract zero is inevitable.
People raised PTSD - undelivered promises etc. Which is very real concern. My two cents was the only real answer is actually delivering, or making serious visible attempts at it. Results are always an uncertain time frame.
Spoke about our intent to split focus between Web3 strategy and Web2.
Also my desire to create stronger financial feed back loops that are tied to platform not tokens, Seasons, Quests, ref's all act as first stage stuff.
People asked me for more active social presence between company and personal account - we want to avoid slop posting, but we will enforce a stronger presence.

If @thingsmarket wins, @Thingy_Sol wins. Easy as that, and I won’t stop until we see it happen

One of the requests in the community was translating what @thingsmarket has been doing with the t-combinator and why it matters.
So let's talk shop
We've obviously been working closely with the two existing projects in the t-combinator, Onboard and Thingy.
Onboards provided us access to 10 existing content creators and 5 more confirmed on the way, all external to crypto that have generated 200k views across the last week.
Their growth as a content creator agency will ideally become our growth and our talent pool, we'll continue to help fund the content the produce alongside acquisitions.
I've personally met some of the creators involved in real life over coffee across the last week, shared idea's and understanding. They seem hungry and most importantly, authentic. I've also spent some time meeting with other content creator's, on calls and in real life to gauge their interest on participating in the idea or with us. Over all the sentiment's been good.
Thingy and specifically @Just__Rob_ has been a massive aid with handling Jupiter support alongside other integrations and provided a really strong example of 'working for your bags'. The amount of idea's he's shared, minor bug's his found and so on goes a long way. Bullish on the man named Rob.
A lot of you guys really like Thingy, so we want to find a way to support it on a deeper level. There's idea's floating, but I'm always curious to hear exactly what you'd like to see.
Why does this matter?
For a long time, people have wished that platforms would put a degree of effort into helping their ecosystem expand.
Not only have we said we'd do it, we have successfully assisted in the growth through organic means. Not only that, but we have actually gained something as a result of our aid.
More over, people have asked for the pursuit of bigger dreams. I agree with you.
But, for far too long has the attempt to go outside begun inside. Faces familiar here, trying to reach people completely unfamiliar with them there.
We want to reverse that. That's why we've begun an entirely Web 2 orientated portion of Things which I'll touch on tomorrow at length.
I hope this will become a bat signal, if you're committed to an idea for the long term and you want to build it in an environment that is looking to support those projects.
Things wants to be the home for you.
There's a new version of this post
Really been enjoying speaking with you guys in the global chat about @thingsmarket today.
It's like a lot of people want to see change, and believe it can come.
All the feedback and all the ideas go a long way.

Finding winners should be easier than finding the right ticker.
Too many traders discover a narrative then end up buying the wrong token because of copycats, vamps and bundled launches.
@thingsmarket fixes that.
One launch per token name. No vamp launches. No endless copies. Just a cleaner path from discovery to execution.

This is @thingsmarket mechanics
gotta hand it to the idea guys out there tbh. i could never come up w/ shit like this
new launchpad dropped where you MUST buy from fomo for some initial time period
only the fomo router is whitelisted, so token will appear as unbuyable in other terminals

Who do I need to speak with at @JupiterExchange to get this done 🤔
We have applied for express strict list token verification from @JupiterExchange. We are doing our part to ensure @thingsmarket tokens are tradable once they migrate off the vesting curve!
