The Met confirming that the letter was sent in 2019 changes EVERYTHING about Meghan’s justification for cutting off her father and proves she’s trying to rewrite history to put herself in a better light. She did it because of him being in cahoots with some paparazzi in 2018 before the wedding. By the time the letter came to light in 2019, he was already dead and buried to Meghan. It also blows away the idea that the letter she sent him perhaps pertains to some reference to the alleged letter talking about abuse and why she led her friends on a campaign against him in PEOPLE. This is why she should have kept her initial statement SIMPLE. By adding too many details, she’s caught in a lie that she probably didn’t think anyone would double check. She’s blaming her memory, but anyone receiving a letter about their parent being an abuser would REMEMBER THAT. It should have been exceptionally memorable, but she also proves that she had already determined way before then that he would be out of her life. The letter just cemented it and she didn’t care enough to push it forward.

Exactly. There’s a lot of reporters, naive school children and apparently patients with disabilities (that seems exploitative) to make it seem like a huge crowd. It’s not. Good to see reporting by Tom Sykes from the crowd.
