I took cymbalta for 2 years and Lexapro for 2 years both and it made me emotionally numb to a number marital atrocities. Cymbalta in particular made my conscience over time believe it was ok to be abused emotionally and physically from what I remember. I have memory loss from taking cymbalta as well in that time period. In the end my prescription of cymbalta was forced to a halt by the VA. The VA after utilizing their help lines, secure messaging app, and telehealth platform asking and begging for a refill and then eventually asking for a taper they left me out to dry during the most stressful part of my life dealing with divorce and drug withdrawal. The VA In Augusta, GA left me hanging and continually canceled all of my appointments during this time. As a result I havent seen a doctor in years and all the better because of it. Our medical systems as a whole is flawed and corrupt. I have some of the best insurance there is being medically retired from the Army, however it seems all doctors do now is prescribe and forget these days. Most medical professionals are trained in pharmaceutical "therapies and treatments" and not actual medicine from mother earth. Holistic health is the way not pills from a corporate entity turning a dollar and sending doctors on paid vacations to a drug seminar to eventually push its drugs. Majority of doctors now are drug dealers.
