Over the last two decades, more children have died from guns than on-duty police officers and active duty military—COMBINED.
It’s not doors. It’s not windows. It’s not video games. It’s not absent fathers. It’s not the lack of God. It’s. The. Guns. It’s ALWAYS been the guns.
Well, #DublinAirport that was… memorable. I found myself apologising to fellow passengers for the absolute state of the whole operation. How on earth will tourism make a sustainable return to this country when these visitors (finally!) return home with tales of this weekend?
Just spectacular!! 😍
Finished this lovely project today. Louisa Harding Ginerva pattern using Yarntelier cashmere lace (mist) and @townhouseyarns abbey lace (smelt). Really enjoyed knitting this. Now time to head back to @ThisIsKnit for some more lovely yarn for the next project!

Most Irish restaurants are locally owned and profits are retained and reinvested locally.
This private equity firm will repatriate profits.
Let’s stop getting excited about seeing big brands hoovering up existing businesses.
This started with the arrival of BHS in the 1980’s.
Always our pleasure.
And if you find those extra hours, could you send some our way too? 😉

The speed and extent of the obliteration of women’s rights in Afghanistan is a warning to women around the world about the fragility of progress toward equality, how quickly it can vanish, and how few will defend it. #IWD2022 hrw.org/news/2022/03/08/stan…
