It's been a rough couple of months financially, most of which I've kept private; but I'm in need of help for my cat Ebony's vet bills. Still waiting on full lab results ton tumors, but luckily very unlikely according to vet.
Any little bit helps 🫶

The hard truth is you thought you won, but you didn’t. Trump won. Musk won. Billionaires won. I lost. And you lost.
The question is, “where do we go from here?”

If you’re sad, scared, confused or angry - I’m sorry. I am too. It’s a natural response to so many of our friends, family members and neighbors embracing the demagoguery of a would-be tyrant.

No matter what happens, it saddens me deeply that rape, felonies, trying to overthrow our democracy, misogyny, racism and transphobia are somehow not deal breaks for 10’s of millions of Americans.
Get some rest tonight everyone.
Staying up won't change the results.
It's not physics. Observation doesn't change anything.

I am here to inform you that your vote matters a great deal but no matter who wins, in some ways that will vary between the two candidates, it will get worse before it gets better.
You wanted the US to abdicate geopolitical responsibility. Now it has. What comes next, well...
Hurricane Update!
Helene luckily is maneuvering westward from its initial path; but the vets office is located within a flood zone, so they've been evacuated just in case. We got Ebony's appointment rescheduled to Monday the 30th!

A hill I'll die on:
Private school vouchers should be completely eliminated.
It's just wealthy people looting public education. Shameful.
For those who enjoy the more whimsical, less danger-fueled DND adventures; I have a new campaign starting on Sunday, September 29 at 8:00 PM Eastern, running bi-weekly!
Eyes Unclouded, a series of magical adventures inspired by the works of Studio Ghibli!

General Update on kitty health: Ebony's eye is looking a lot better from the antibiotics she got on Friday; her poor face is still swollen on the left from the abscess & she's having some food aversion still; but is eating treats and drinking her water gofund.me/3d466782

As a Chinese person, I need you all to shut the fuck up, quickly, with your ironic little jokes about eating cats and dogs.
Defanging racism through irony inoculates society against its sting and makes Black and Asian people more acceptable targets for violence.

The new Starbucks CEO’s hiring package is a glaring example of corporate greed: a $32 million signing bonus and a salary that dwarfs the wages of the average barista. It’s shocking how corporate excess continues while the workers who actually run the store struggle with low pay.

I suppose I can now share the full version of my header graphic.
Done solely for fun while on set.

"The problem is you haven't diversified your income streams or set up any side hustles!"
I dunno dog I think the problem is that an apartment that cost $600 in 2008 costs $2000 today and that wages haven't gone up

In a day of big announcements, this might be our biggest: as reported by @Polygon today, the first campaign for the Stormlight RPG features a canonical story by Brandon Sanderson and Dan Wells.
It's called Stonewalkers, and if you're willing to risk minor spoilers, read on... 🧵
