Yesterday was an important day in my teaching year. It was the Annual Michael Rosen Day- when I show a BBC video clip about The Globe theatre and students LOSE THEIR MINDS when @MichaelRosenYes briefly appears. ‘He’s a living legend!’ one girl cried!
I'm not saying I've been stuck in traffic on this Austrian motorway for a unacceptable amount of time, but an impromptu volleyball tournament broke out in a lay by, and it's now reached the semi finals stage.
Just landed in Heathrow Airport T3. Went into M&S. Three staff working.
I shouted 'oh eight hundred, double oh'.
They refused to shout '1066!'
This is erasing our history.
We must confront them every time.

My need to be adopted by a bun grows by the day!

Last week's lessons were an important point in the year; the time when I show year 7 and 8 a short video clip of The Globe, and they go BONKERS because Michael Rosen appears!
(From Kate) Are the monsters we create influenced by the politics of the day? @HistFestUK #histfest – at Islington, London
I’m very disappointed that there was not a single oatcake on those bird baths. #potterythrowdown
Apparently, as a teacher, my priority has to be doing lesson observations with management. Not marking assessments. Oh, and they will be done during my PPA time because 'reasons'.
