Travis Knight says that LAIKA will never use generative AI in their films.
“AI is theft. It’s the ingestion of years and years and years of human creativity and ingenuity, regurgitated back. It has no humanity. It has no spirit.”

All for you to take a big fat dump on it since July 1st. You are absolutely shameless. Discs made you successful. They are a fundamental part of your history. You can't be serious.

"first 30 years" is kind of a misnomer since you're currently committing brand suicide. There'll be no further 30 years, or even ten.

The worst joke yet. Celebrating history in the year they announce the end of a crucial element to their success. Killing discs, strong-arming developers, shitting on their fans, and here they are acting like they give the slightest f*** about their history. Pathetic!

Don't let @CapcomUSA_ fool you:
They include PC sales (digital only), count GKCs as digital, include DLC (digital only), and absolutely *dogpile* PS5/XSX physical sales with those numbers.
Of course physical is going to look like a small piece. That's intentional.

‼️ EU governments approved a GDPR change to let companies train AI on Europeans' personal data without consent.
It makes AI training a possible "legitimate interest", judged case by case. Parliament must still agree.
Max Schrems calls it a "digital expropriation" of Europeans.

Capcom be like: todo se vende en digital
Pero más de la mitad viene de una plataforma sin físico, las key-Card las cuentan como digital y suerte encontrando juegos físicos de Capcom en switch en europa y dependiendo del juego también en play

New sales data from Capcom is out and people once again quote the high digital sales percentage as if it means anything. Subtract all digital-only content and then talk about consumer preference. Also, notice how the YoY growth for physical is almost double that of digital?

You have a few more days to save physical games. But don't wait too long, because everyday you keep acting arrogant towards your fan base more and more are leaving your platform. Just keep physical games as an option. Not rocket science.
