🇵🇸 22 Palestinians, all women and children, were buried in Gaza on Tuesday, three years after Israeli strikes killed them early in the war, journalist Tamer Qdeih reported. Families placed a photo of each victim on the shrouds, including one of two infants. Civil Defense crews only recently recovered their decomposed remains from the rubble. It comes two days after 75 Palestinians recovered from the rubble of Gaza City's al-Daraj neighborhood were buried on Sunday. Gaza's Civil Defense believes the remains of about 8,000 more are still under the rubble across the Strip.

The commander of the Israeli military unit likely responsible for killing 5-year-old Hind Rajab is currently in the U.S. As a party to the Genocide Convention and the Geneva Conventions, our government is obligated to arrest and investigate him for these war crimes and acts of genocide. I stand with @HindRFoundation in calling on the DOJ to follow the law and take action.
🇺🇸🚨 The #HindRajabFoundation has filed an urgent request with the U.S. Department of Justice, demanding the immediate investigation, arrest, and prosecution of Sean Glass, currently present in the United States. Glass commanded the Israeli unit implicated in Hind Rajab's murder. HRF's investigation places the 52nd Battalion—including Glass and his Vampire Empire Company—near her vehicle during the killing. Today, Glass walks free in the U.S. ➡️ More → bit.ly/4iv2Zio

Six Palestinians were killed and 25 others injured in Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours. Among the victims was Misk al-Dalo, a young girl killed by Israeli army fire in al-Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza. Two fishermen were also injured when an Israeli quadcopter drone dropped a bomb on them while they were working off the coast of al-Shati refugee camp, west of Gaza City. Several other Palestinians were injured in attacks across the Strip, including in Gaza City and Khan Younis. Israeli forces continued demolitions, artillery shelling and gunfire across Gaza, targeting homes and displacement tents in eastern Gaza City, including the al-Tuffah and al-Shuja’iyya neighbourhoods, as well as areas in central and southern Gaza. Displaced Palestinians in al-Mawasi, Rafah, were also targeted by Israeli gunfire. Since the ceasefire took effect on 11 October 2025, at least 1,517 Palestinians have been killed and 5,400 injured, while 839 bodies have been recovered from beneath the rubble, according to the ministry. The cumulative death toll from Israel’s genocide in Gaza has reached 74,475, with 175,517 Palestinians injured.

For me, as a Palestinian from Gaza who survived the ongoing genocide, when I look at the rubble of homes on Google Maps, I am not seeing only the remains of buildings, which from far look like a decaying wall. I am seeing the remains of people whose bodies were crushed beneath walls and ceilings they painted with their own hands. I see children’s toys. Books. Backpacks. Coloring pencils. An unfinished meal. Blankets. Shoes. Photo frames of grandparents whose grandchildren never met. An old key to a home in Yaffa or Haifa. I can also hear the last words of a broadcaster on the radio before the news occurred, before the radio was broken and the family crushed. No breaking news there. No news at all.

Cuba’s @CarlosFdeCossio pushes back on the declaration that Cuba poses an “unusual and extraordinary threat” to U.S. nat sec, calling it an “absurd allegation.” “Anyone who looks at a country the size of Cuba with a modest economy…can’t think that we could become a threat to the most powerful nation on Earth.”
