Ok, given what we have ahead of us here, I have a thread with free books on organizing, antifascism, and mutual aid! First one is mine! No Pasaran is free @ @AKPressDistro to download right now and has great chapters on building antifasicst movements. 🧵akpress.org/no-pasaran-ebook…

“In 2020 I described the US presidential race between Joe Biden and Donald Trump as a choice not between a lesser evil and a greater evil, but between the abysmal and the catastrophic. This year, with Kamala Harris versus Trump, we get to choose between a Democratic option more abysmal than four years ago and a Republican option even more catastrophic than last time. On one side, Trump has amped up the supremacist lies, calls to violence, and nakedly dictatorial fantasies to unprecedented levels, while the MAGA forces behind him have been working diligently to make an effective, organized authoritarianism much more likely this time around. On the other side, Harris seems intent on embracing Republican positions on everything except abortion rights, while remaining committed to funding Israel’s ever-intensifying genocide in Gaza and beyond.”
Read the rest of this VERY timely article (Notes on Trump/MAGA 2024) from @Three_Way_Fight’s Matthew Lyons on the impossible choice we’re facing at the link in our bio.

This is a thread of mutual aid and relief groups that you can support or donate to to help folks in the Appalachia region and those affected by the hurricane. I am putting the rad, direct mutual aid groups at the top that come directly from friends with verifiable connections. 🧵

This evenings callouts across London, Brighton, Newcastle, Bristol, Aldershot, & other locations around the country have been extremely inspiring and effective. Though the far right appears to have managed small but rowdy showings in a few locations, they've been totally shown up
