Perhaps we’re presenting it wrong. Instead of Good, cheap, fast: pick any two. We should say Terrible, expensive, late: pick at least one.

We need to ban bots by blowing up the data centers that run them.
Can someone explain this? Why does "0.1 + 0.2" give "0.30000000000000004" in JavaScript? These are literally basic decimal numbers. Why can't computers represent them exactly?

I’m taking all “be honest” exhortations as engagement bait and/or AI content farming. Both are one step above scammers.
Linux users, be honest What made you switch to Linux? 1. Windows getting worse 2. Privacy concerns 3. Customization 4. Better development workflow 5. Older PC running like garbage 6. Curiosity 7. Someone on Reddit convinced me 8. I use Arch btw And for those still on Windows… What's stopping you from switching?

100% false. Putin ABSOLUTELY has rejected EVERY peace deal, other than one that gives him everything.
Putin is not the one who is rejecting peace deals, stealing Europeans' tax money for his lavish corrupt lifestyle, and taking ordinary people from the streets into the meat grinder unlike Zelensky.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Putin has systematically rejected all ceasefire proposals. Most recently from Zelenskyy, and a limited energy ceasefire from Trump. msn.com/en-us/news/oth… msn.com/en-us/news/oth…

“On any other car this would be a nightmare” AAA has been around since 1902, and you’ve got an app you willingly paid $1000’s extra for, whoopie!!
Why have I bought into the Muskonomy? This is why. At 9pm on a Friday night I got in my wife’s car to pick up her Target order. I made it one house down before the car started throwing flat tire warnings. I pulled over and sure enough. It was flat. I very slowly drove it right back into our driveway, hopped out, and filed a claim through the Tesla app with my Tesla insurance. Within minutes a tow truck was dispatched to pick the car up and take it to the nearest Tesla service center. Since they’re open Saturday’s, the car will be ready for pickup tomorrow with a repaired or new tire. On any other car this would be a nightmare. Trying to find a tire shop over Saturday and Sunday, make sure my tire is in stock, pay a towing company to come get it… it would consume the weekend. Not with my @tesla though. A few taps of the screen and all I have to do it pick it up at the end. Wow.

Gosh - I guess my medical degree, being in the hospital and seeing the patients and watching them die from covid isn't as good as your view, which is supported by nothing. Calling names isn't a substitute for good conversation -

Elon Musk has stated that Tesla can turn off your car at any point. SpaceX can turn off your wifi whenever they want. They've threatened to use these features if they suspect your an undocumented immigrant attempting to flee. They've shut down Starlink during crises. Now they shut down Starshield in Ukraine due to their attacks on data centers in Russia. Why would we put so much power in the hands of an emotional lunatic?

“Not a single shred of proof an unvaccinated person died from COVID” is a magnificent claim, because it requires forgetting the entire year 2020. The vaccines were not yet available for most of that year. COVID nevertheless killed hundreds of thousands of Americans and became the third leading cause of death. Then vaccines arrived, and the comparison became embarrassingly easy: during Delta, unvaccinated adults died from COVID at roughly 11 times the rate of fully vaccinated adults. So when someone says, “I survived, therefore the danger was fake,” they have not discovered epidemiology. They have discovered autobiography. The existence of survivors has never disproved the existence of the dead.
There isnt a single shred of proof that shows a unvaccinated person has died in over six years from Covid. At this point If you still can't see that the entire thing was nothing more than a massive psyops to get people to take the jab you are completely lost and beyond help.

To everyone calling Ukraine's refinery strikes "a disgrace": Russia fired more than 850 drones at Ukraine in one night. 15 regions. Three dead in Kirovohrad after a 10-hour attack. A refinery is a target. An apartment block is a war crime. Learn the difference.

I am starting to get in to the habit of looking at when account was created and dismissing anything 2025 or after as a bot or LLM training solicitation. Sorry, young folks, but you appear to be out-numbered.

A fund controlled by Washington - right after Trump forced a roll-back of sanctions against them.
The U.S. has proposed that European countries release a portion of frozen Russian assets and transfer them into a fund controlled by Washington—a move intended to help revive peace talks, the Financial Times (FT) reports. European officials rejected the proposal.

Wait. Blocking the person calling you out confirms that person’s guilt? That’s what, third-grade “logic”? I doubt many third-graders even know what “checkmate” actually means.

A thought on the people who assert that all human life is more important than any animal life…. Suppose someone doused themselves in gasoline in front of the zoo and demanded that the zoo should be shut down by force else they’ll immolate themselves.

Key point. Too much movie logic. Guns do not always kill immediately.. Guns do not unerringly hit their target. Tranquilizers are not instant. Not all actions can be foreseen and prepared for.
