You can close your eyes to reality but not to memories. Photos are a great memory-prompt, and because we tend to take photos of happy occasions, they weight our memories to the good. @MbalePark @Rotary @StateHouseUg @GovUganda

Sino Park values the opportunity to engage with you Hon. Minister @AminahMukalazi on investment opportunities in Uganda. We remain committed to fostering strategic partnerships, promoting value addition and supporting the growth of Uganda’s industrial sector @ugandainvest
I held a high-level meeting with Mr. Yan Jianbo, Acting Mayor of Xiamen Municipal People's Government, and his delegation, alongside prominent Chinese investors, to explore investment opportunities and strengthen economic cooperation between Uganda and China. Our discussions focused on attracting Chinese investment into Uganda's coffee value chain, particularly establishing local processing and manufacturing facilities to produce high-end coffee products rather than exporting semi-processed beans. I emphasised Government's readiness to support investors interested in value addition and domestic manufacturing. We also explored opportunities in industrial park development, modern manufacturing, real estate and infrastructure, including investments that can improve connectivity, facilitate the movement of goods and strengthen regional trade. The Acting Mayor expressed his commitment to supporting Chinese investors interested in Uganda and proposed three areas for consideration: ✅ Establishing liaison offices in Xiamen and Mbale Industrial Park. ✅Developing an additional industrial park in Uganda. ✅Establishing a centralised procurement platform to facilitate trade between Uganda and China. The discussions provided an opportunity to connect Uganda’s investment priorities with the technical expertise, investment capacity and experience with the objective of identifying viable projects and establishing partnerships that can contribute to Uganda’s long-term economic transformation. @mofpedU @munghinda @nuwamanyaisaacn

A great milestone in strengthening China–Uganda cooperation and attracting more investment to Uganda. Thank you, Hon. Minister @AminahMukalazi ,We look forward to continued collaboration and working together to advance Uganda's industrialization agenda @ugandainvest @newsUMA
Another key highlight of the engagements in Xiamen was officiating the launch of the China–Uganda Cooperation Liaison Office at the BRICS Industrial Cooperation and Going Global Comprehensive Service Hub. The office will provide a strategic link between Ugandan institutions and Chinese enterprises seeking to establish or expand their operations in Uganda, facilitating investment promotion, protection and aftercare. I used the opportunity to invite Chinese investors to explore Uganda's investment opportunities, particularly in the ATMS priority areas under the 10X strategy, including petrochemicals, real estate development, energy, mineral development and infrastructure. Uganda offers a conducive investment climate supported by an attractive incentive framework. A similar liaison office is also planned for establishment in Uganda, particularly at the Tian Tang (Sino-Mbale) Industrial Park (@TianTang2002 - @MbalePark), to coordinate investment-related activities and provide support to Chinese investors. These arrangements are intended to strengthen business linkages, facilitate the entry of Chinese enterprises into Uganda and support the development of mutually beneficial investment partnerships. @mofpedU teapawt.net/AminahMukalazi/status/…
