Deep in a cold ocean, Amathara’s citizens find themselves in an odd place. In a kingdom that never could really get itself off the ground, they’re down a leader and must pull together before they once again fall apart.
Non-believers in the Sea God, many say Amathara is cursed.
*And what is it that befell the King of Amathara?*
Although he was never loved by the people, he wasn’t a particularly poor King. He did his best to manage the plagues that haunted the soil, spoke kindly of those who worked with him, and didn’t simply steal from those under him.
He had flaws, as all do, but he wasn’t so bad he simply had to go.
*His advisors will tell you he began to hear voices.*
But it wasn’t voices, not multiple, and not in his head. No, it was one voice, a calming and soft one. Telling him his work was done and he had to move on.
