Alex Pretti's father: Our son was shot and killed by the government, federal immigration agents, on January 24th, 2026. We learned about his death from the media as we saw him being shot repeatedly in the back after helping a woman from his community. This was not a protest that Alex was at. His hands were in the air, and his face was on the ground when he was executed by ICE agents. We know exactly what our eyes saw. No one from the federal government called us on that day. But they did go on TV to tell lies about Alex. No one has called us since. No one has recanted those lies.
Well, yeah. It costs $1 million to join Mar a Lago, and then $20k a year to maintain membership.
In 2015 it was $100k, and $14k.
So, yes. People aren't buying into a club, they are influence and favors that only a President can make happen.

Making fun of the decor at Cheesecake Factory was elitist.
Bragging that the crowd wouldn't be able to afford the food at his private club is, what exactly?

I think it’s mostly lame that MAGA and Fox types are trying to make the Saddam-Cheesecake Factory line into an outrage. But I think it’s hilarious that nearly all of them are offended on behalf of the Cheesecake Factory and not Trump. I haven’t heard anyone defend Trump’s interior design. The logic of their freakout is, “How dare you say the Cheesecake Factory looks like the Trump White House!? The Cheesecake Factory is awesome!”
The entire Republican party is a crime syndicate, and every American citizen is their mark.

Remember when Trump campaigned on releasing the Epstein files? Good times.
The Epstein scandal just got a whole lot uglier.
Newly released emails show Trump's White House helped edit the DOJ/FBI memo declaring there was no basis for further investigations.
The suggested edits? Redacted.
Think about that. The president's own staff had a hand in drafting the official explanation for why investigators should stop digging into a scandal involving his longtime former friend.
What exactly did the White House want changed?
Release the fucking edits.

This is like the epigraph for the entire Trump 2.0 presidency:
‘’I don’t give a damn. We’re making a fortune’
"We" are making a fortune.
Are you?
I am not.
If I were to add up the cost. $20 more a week in gas. $15 more a week in groceries. My electricity bill is up 13%, so maybe another $12 or so. $150-$200 more a month adds up, but I am glad he is killing it(I am not).
Back in 2008, Republicans were saying the same thing if Obama were to be elected, and of course it never came to be. This kid was probably still riding his tricycle back then, but it's amazing how another generation is getting sucked up into this nonsense.
I'll never understand how this can be done without specifying a crime for which they are being pardoned.
Trump White House attorneys are evaluating whether to issue mass pardons to junior staffers — as Trump allies press the administration to protect lower-ranked officials from prosecution and other legal challenges, according to two sources familiar with the conversations. washingtonsun.com/whitehouse…
