I wish it wasn’t, but irl nuclear’s a dangerous, expensive distraction. Another example of Hochul being incompetent, and playing to corporate interests.
Much would have to happen before advanced nuclear comes to NY. Sites would need to be identified, transmission lines connected, laws may need tweaking and approval would be needed by the federal NRC, experts said. 1/3

According to a report submitted to @NRCgov, the February 5 fire on a truck carrying low-level radioactive waste from Oak Ridge that shut down I-40 in Nashville may have been caused by batteries that had been thrown into the sack with the waste. D'Oh!
