Your Hermes STAYS grinding. You deserve a BREAK. 🫵
So I built a full TV right inside Hermes Desktop.
Meet HermesTV. 🪽
🔥🔥🔥
Modders have unlocked hidden AI compute performance on NVIDIA’s RTX 20, 30 and 40-series GPUs.
The modifications remove software-level limits on certain Tensor Core operations, without changing the hardware or flashing a new VBIOS.
- RTX 4090: 165.6 → 331.6 TFLOPS FP16 Tensor Core throughput
-RTX 3090 Ti: 87.5 → 157.4 TFLOPS BF16 performance
- RTX 2080 Ti: 59.9 → 111 TFLOPS FP16→FP32 performance
- RTX 3090: 73.0 → 122.8 TFLOPS in a PyTorch GEMM test
The gains are mainly relevant to AI and compute workloads, not gaming.

Claude can no longer “Reverse Engineer Anything.”
Anthropic just quietly killed REA.
But Interesting timing.
After a few viral cases of people using Claude to reverse-engineer Samsung TV firmware and identify data-collection services, Anthropic appears to have restricted those reverse-engineering abilities.
WTF, $3000 Samsung TV has an always-on mic, automatic content recognition, geo tracking, network mapping, and ships your data to Samsung + 400 partners.
Bro Rooted a brand-new 2025 Samsung TV after noticing absurdly targeted ads.
Firmware was locked down, so zero-days it was.
Got a root shell.
then found: always-on voice service, ACR, geo, full telemetry pipeline, and four separate DRM systems.
This isn’t a bug, It’s the product bro.

SWEDEN'S GOVERNMENT BLOCKS CHATGPT AND CLAUDE ON STAFF LAPTOPS FROM MONDAY. THE MODELS STAY
what the Government Offices actually did:
> from Oct 26, browser ChatGPT and Claude are blocked on staff work computers
> staff get Microsoft Copilot, with tightened security settings
> OpenAI and Anthropic models stay available through Intric, an internal platform
> the stated reason: AI services with no formal contract are an information security risk
the clip shows the other risk. a member of New Brunswick's legislature appeared to read his chatbot's reply into the record, "here's a more natural flowing version" included
Yup! 👀

An in-depth engineering blog explaining how we built our Blockchain Explorer entirely on ARC (Agentic Realm Computer).
From blockchain data and AFS to AFS-UI and the underlying architecture, we walk through how the pieces fit together to power a real-world application.
Not just a demo or a concept — a working application built on our next-generation agentic computing platform.

ARC makes Blockchain native and first-class citizens so building a blockchain explorer like piece of cake.

One of the biggest problems I had was never having direct, fast access to my computer at home. Tried many remote software apps and just getting them to look and function properly was a pain on a mobile device. I found Omarchy on accident and fell in love with the fluidity and it inspired me to create touchworkstation. Linux is more than just an operating system. It’s a community. @OmarchyLinux
I know there is a server os for the phone and I know not everything for the OnePlus 9Pro is not working, but it be funny to get omarchy running on it. 😂 At least I will get new updates on my old phone after all! 🤣
Omarchy Mobile: this week's update
It was a big week, and more than half of it came from the community. Ports to new Pixels moved forward, a lot of hardware support landed, and the daily-driver experience on the Pixel 7 Pro got more polished.
🌱 New devices
- Pixel Fold (felix): went from first light to a real bring-up. Storage behind our read-only safety guard, the GPU enabled, volume keys, the power key, the hinge sensor and the cover screen's console. Work has started on its cover touchscreen. Thanks, boozedog!
- Pixel 8 Pro (husky, Tensor G3): our mainline kernel boots it with USB and SSH. Getting there turned up and fixed a USB bug that froze the phone, and that fix can go upstream to Linux too. Thanks, greenbrettmichael!
- Pixel 9a (tegu, Tensor G4): first light is recorded. More than a dozen kernel pieces for Tensor G4 merged, covering clocks, storage, pins, power management, GPU and touch, and a read-only battery gauge is in review. Thanks, W4HO-ham!
- Pixel 7a (lynx): new this week! A first-light board and an on-screen console are in review. Thanks, latentoperator!
- Pixel 6 (gs101): the build and flash tooling, bootloader glue and Mali-G78 GPU support merged. Thanks, robotosaith and bilacc!
- Also in progress: the Pixel 4 and the POCO F3, our first non-Pixel port.
📱 Pixel 7 Pro, the reference phone
- Camera: Night mode and HDR in omacam. Several raw frames are aligned and merged on the phone, and libcamera gained noise reduction and defective-pixel correction.
- Calls: groundwork for phone calls, with calls over the lock screen, a call indicator, Do Not Disturb that lets starred contacts through, and an Emergency call button on the lock screen.
- Notifications: you can reply straight from the notification.
- Charging: the charger and its battery-temperature guard now start at boot.
- Suspend: Wi-Fi stays connected across sleep and we've measured the first sleep power numbers.
- Fingerprint: unlock keeps working across sleep.
- Updates: Omarchy updates now follow Omarchy's stable channel on the phone, and our phone patches are reapplied automatically after each update.
- Kernel cleanup: the Tensor G2 watchdog and power-management hardware is now documented to upstream standards, and the result booted on the phone this week.
🛠️ For contributors
- Every pull request now runs automatic checks in both repositories, kernel included.
- There's a one-command phone smoke test for PR reports.
- Shared install tooling handles new devices, and the installer refuses images built for another device.
- We reviewed more than 20 pull requests this week, and our review notes and lessons are public.
🙌 Get involved
Have a spare Pixel 6, 7, 8 or 9? Check the supported-devices page and the Wanted list in the repo, and open an issue so efforts don't overlap. Have another phone or tablet with an unlocked bootloader? Point your agents to the repo and have them get to work!

I still use Hermes, no maintanence problems never no sir. Id never not want those skills accruing xp. Theres a reason 10m$ with codex a month to build openclaw loses to our 50k a month with Hermes to build Hermes. Its because Hermes is the best!

🚨 NEW: Bitcoin Core changes its security rules as AI makes some vulnerabilities discoverable with a SIMPLE PROMPT.
Developers will now fast-track fixes for easily discoverable flaws across ALL maintained versions, publishing security advisories alongside the updates instead of applying lengthy disclosure embargoes.
Developer Antoine Poinsot says AI has sharply lowered the barrier to finding bugs and spotting quietly introduced fixes making prolonged secrecy less effective.
Other vulnerabilities retain their existing disclosure timelines, which can extend to roughly a year after a fix ships. The change aims to get patches to node operators faster; it does not announce a new Bitcoin exploit or network compromise.
