The Golden Rule has come up a lot for me this year. The John Adams biography had the 2nd president focused on it quite a bit. How is this not haw we live, work, and govern? It really is something to internalize. Something on which to center. I’ll keep trying.

We can confirm at this time 10 Marines were killed in the line of duty at Hamid Karzai International Airport. Additionally, several more were wounded and are being cared for at this time. We mourn the loss of these Marines and pray for their families.
