Very sad to hear about the passing of Archbishop Desmond Tutu. He leaves behind an incredible legacy of fighting for justice, and an example to follow for people around the world. My condolences to his family.

I often think about this quote and its profound truth:
“Sometimes people try to destroy you, precisely because they recognize your power — not because they don’t see it, but because they see it and they don’t want it to exist.”

This is baffling—after watching #COVID19 cases rise for weeks, and with 2.5-million students returning to school in just days, the #Ontario government is considering creating a QR code-based vaccine certificate but not requiring it for entry into non-essential indoor settings.
Not to further complicate things, but...an Ontario govt source tells @globeandmail the province is looking at a QR code for a digital vaccine certificate, but the real debate is over whether it will be required to enter any businesses/events. That, as yet, is not decided. #onpoli
