Can policy makers, practitioners, and leaders please STOP saying that we have to help children impacted by parental imprisonment to prevent them becoming offenders themselves. No!!! There is no research evidence that parental offending causes a child to go on to offend.
How amazing is this. We are featured on The One Show tonight raising awareness about the challenges faced by young people with a parent in prison! ❤️
Catch us tonight sharing the @BBCTheOneShow sharing our fight for better support for children with a parent in prison! @TNLComFund @ace_national @TimeMattersUK1 making theatre to make change!!!!
