I have done that before.
Before I married my husband, my in-law bought me a car that I was using for my business. At that time, my husband didn't have a car, so when we got married, I handed the car over to him.
If I hadn't told you the story, you would probably think the car belonged to him from the beginning.
That one act alone opened doors to so many blessings. We eventually sold that car, and my husband replaced it with something even more beautiful for me. He also got himself a car.
Till today, whenever he's with his friends, he uses that story to brag about me, and honestly, I'm proud of it.

My guys just got scammed in Ottawa.
Saw a house on Kijiji, called, and the “landlord” asked for 3 months rent upfront, about $7,500. They checked the place, rushed because they were desperate, paid, and never got the keys.
Scammer still free, but they’ve reported it to Ottawa Police.
This is the Canadian housing game right now. Kijiji and Facebook ads are full of fake listings. Newcomers, if someone wants money before you have the keys in your hand and a proper lease signed in person, run.
It’s not easy to make money out here. Don’t let urgency make you drop thousands. Verify everything, meet face-to-face, and never pay in a rush.

J’ai pris note aujourd’hui de la nouvelle offre de Mark Carney d’obtenir le droit de m’assoir à sa table d’honneur à titre de spectateur, sans droit de parole ni droit de négocier au nom du Québec. Cette proposition revient à demander au Québec de rentrer dans les rangs, avec la vassalisation et l’invisibilisation du Québec que cela implique, en échange d’obtenir de meilleurs sièges de spectateurs pour regarder la partie. Comme premier ministre, je refuserai toujours que le Québec soit réduit au rôle de spectateur lorsqu’il s’agit de représenter et protéger les intérêts économiques et politiques des Québécois.
La réalité est que nous sommes devant une stratégie de marginalisation du Québec sur la scène internationale et de subordination des champs de compétence du Québec à la volonté du fédéral. Je note à cet effet que tous les chefs de partis de l’Assemblée nationale ont indiqué hier que s’ils étaient dans la position de premier ministre et devant un tel sommet sur le territoire du Québec, ils s’attendraient à prendre la parole et à participer à part entière. À Ottawa, le chef de l'opposition officielle ainsi que le chef du Bloc Québécois ont également appuyé notre demande.
J’ai donc pris la plume et j’ai écrit aux représentants de l’Union européenne pour leur rappeler que des ententes qui impliquent l’Europe et le Québec doivent forcément passer par le gouvernement du Québec, et à plus forte raison si le sommet se tient sur notre territoire. Le refus de nous donner la parole à titre d’hôte pour souhaiter la bienvenue à nos invités y est également mentionné.
Je lance donc l’invitation pour une discussion bilatérale dans un meilleur contexte qui permettrait au Québec de ne pas être exclu. À ce titre, j’enverrai le diplomate en chef du Québec, Pascal Paradis, pour ouvrir ces canaux de discussion pour la suite.

Dear @GovWike, @IretiKingibe, and Hon. Nuhu Daniel Kwali, we call on you to urgently intervene at Kigbe LEA Primary School, Yebu Ward, Kwali Area Council, FCT, where 248 pupils have endured deplorable learning conditions for over eight years.
The attached video and images paint a distressing picture of the reality these children face daily. Instead of learning in a safe, decent, and conducive classroom, pupils are forced to sit on bare floors and makeshift wooden planks, using whatever limited space and materials are available to continue their education. The classroom floor is visibly deteriorated, with large patches of exposed earth, while the walls and general condition of the learning environment raise serious concerns about the safety, dignity, and well-being of the pupils.
For more than eight years, these children have continued to pursue their education under conditions that no child should have to endure. They deserve proper desks and chairs, a clean and secure classroom, adequate ventilation, and an environment that supports effective teaching and learning. Their circumstances raise important questions about the state of basic education infrastructure, the availability of essential learning facilities, and the attention being given to underserved communities.
The situation is particularly concerning amid rising temperatures and the increasing risks associated with extreme heat. In poorly maintained classrooms with unsuitable seating arrangements, children may face additional discomfort, fatigue, dehydration, and difficulty concentrating. How can we expect these pupils to learn effectively, remain comfortable, and reach their full potential when their basic learning needs have gone unmet for so long?
Education is a fundamental right, not a privilege that should depend on a child's location or circumstances. Every child deserves an opportunity to learn in an environment that protects their health, preserves their dignity, and gives them a fair chance to succeed. The children of Kigbe should not have to choose between enduring hardship and accessing an education.
Eight years is far too long for 248 children to learn without basic classroom furniture and a decent learning environment. Education must not mean enduring indignity.

A man has been in America for over 16 years and can’t return to Nigeria 🇳🇬 because of his immigration status. He left behind a wife and 2 kids.
Since he couldn’t bring his wife over, he gave her permission to have a boyfriend. But this man had CONDITIONS o!
The boyfriend MUST be married, and whenever his wife finds someone, she has to let him speak with the person first.
The maddest part? Whenever he calls his wife and the other man is around, the man picks the call, and they both talk like old friends!
I have never heard of this kind of arrangement before.
