If you are weary, or distracted, or feel that you have lost your connection to the Saviour, the house of the Lord—a house of peace and joy—is where to go.
Children, feel His peace on temple grounds. Youth, find Him in the baptistery. And to all of us, do whatever you need to do to receive and keep your temple recommend.
The Lord commands and blesses us with temples—including the Wichita Kansas Temple dedicated on Sunday—so that we can be part of His sacred and holy work.
Come serve your ancestors who have heard the gospel and are desirous to continue their eternal journey of faith in Jesus Christ.
Seek Him. Come to His house. He is here, and He has been here the whole time.

Friends, I could really use some help.
A large group of Amish builders from Ohio are spending the next FIVE MONTHS fixing homes damaged by Hurricane Helene for FREE in Western North Carolina and South Carolina.
There's just one problem... the Amish don't drive, so they need drivers to take them back and forth to job sites and drop off trailers (if you have a truck).
I have already volunteered to help, but we need more volunteers.
If you feel led and are in the area, there's a sign up sheet in the comments.
You'll get free breakfast and free dinner too + you'll get to meet some of the heroes who have been working here to rebuild.

Ok my LDS peeps here, the like 2-3 of you who see my posts.
Just got laid off and am looking for new opportunities in AI, M365, modern work, and cloud. Open to leads and connections. ANY help is appreciated. Thank you!

Any spare tickets to the Sitake show on NOV 11? (My birthday 🥳)
I think the two people who responded previously were scammers. No BYU follows. No knowledge of how the event works, etc.
Hey BYU fans. I am going to be in town the week of the Baylor game! I was hoping to go to the Kilani Sitake show on the 10th. Does anyone have a couple extra tickets they're okay parting with?

A single sister in the Spanish branch in our stake could use some help with a car repair.
She was baptized 3 years ago. She was able to go to the temple and do her work last month, then this happened. I know the adversary works hard when someone is focused on changing their life and giving it to the Lord. Any help is greatly appreciated. Share and spread the word.

Just before @BYUfootball game winning drive, C Bruce Mitchell grabbed QB Bear Bachmeier, “Let’s go win this. That’s what YOU do!”
Then TE Walker Lyons grabbed the offense and shouted, “THIS is why we do this!” Huge smile on his face.
Moments later he caught game winning TD from Bear.
Guys playing joyfully not fearfully. @bearb47

I love how BYU fans are convinced every unranked game is a trap game 🤣
"CSU is a trap game. Away game after a big win over Arizona."
"TCU is a trap game. Game after BYE and nothing good happens playing at TCU!"
"ISU is a trap game! Game before Notre Dame!"
"UCF is a trap game! Game after Notre Dame!"

Just a reminder nearly 24 hours after BYU’s biggest win.
This guy won the game with his Oline.
Zero sacks, only 3 TFLs, out rushed Notre Dame and did it with a True Freshman at ROT.
Take your hat off as you look at his picture and buy his Diet Coke if you see him on the streets.

I gotta swallow my pride and apologize to BYU… at least football…
I haven’t cheered for BYU football since the 90’s… (but to be clear… Utes have always been my team)…
I was never a fan but could go to games and have fun…
I was urged to go to BYU… but had absolutely no desire to because I didn’t want to go to a college with such strict rules…
SO I DIDN’T GO!
I didn’t try to attend a college and change it… demand they reform or slide their standards and codes to fit me or my views… I simply accepted who they were and knew I didn’t want to go there.
(Don’t laugh… my biggest issue back then? I didn’t want to take out my second piercings… chill… I know… but also? I ended up taking them out for school anyway… but that’s another story)
Flash forward to years later when Elder Jeffrey R. Holland spoke to BYU and reminded the college of who they represented… what their standards were… and the importance of keeping the institution aligned with the teaching of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
(Imagine that…)
I also watched the backlash...
I spoke up in defense of Elder Holland. I reminded people that this was a private college that has always had strict policies and standards and that if people didn’t like them? DON’T ATTEND THE COLLEGE!
And oh good gravy the wave of hate I got back in return… I lost friends of decades over this. I got blocked by family over this. I was called names and slurs over this.
Students, alumni’s, even teachers came at me…
And the irony? I was an “ally” back then. I waved my rainbow flag and supported loudly… and because I dared speak the truth? I was flattened on my back.
It affected my career… my personal life and my mental health… all because I dared speak the truth and defend an Apostle!
Since then… I have watched family members become woke, bitter and hateful antis after attending this college… I have seen friends lose their children to the same thing…
And I had lost all my respect for that institution.
Earlier this year… President Dallin H. Oaks addressed the college and stated:
“I firmly believe that it is the destiny of Brigham Young University to become what past and present prophets knew it could become. With the consecration and leadership of this community, BYU will become the great university of the Lord — not in the world’s way but in the Lord’s way.”
The Spirit immediately testified to me of the power of his words… and I knew we would see a change… I just didn’t know when… or how.
Then yesterday happened.
Out of every single way for the Lord to work His mighty hand… I was watching clips of football.
A sports I really don’t even like or understand. 😂
I cheer for one team only… the Utes… PERIOD… no NFL… just the U of U UTES!
I watched how the fans acted… I watched how @kalanifsitake spoke boldly and proudly of the Church of Jesus Christ, and bore testimony!
I heard the Book of Mormon being read out loud!
I saw signs being held that spoke of goodness and light!
And my heart softened.
So… @BYUfootball This Mom wants to publicly apologize to you for taking so long to see what so many saw…
Thank you for representing the Church in such a respectful, good and genuine way.
My heart is full… my eyes are wet… I felt the Spirit… and I look forward to the day I can attend a game again.
I appreciate the way you’ve humbled me… and how you’ve been missionaries… you never know who is watching… you never know who you’ll affect…
“Live your life so that those who do not know Him, will want to know Him… because they know you”.

Another week, another wild finish! A lot of talk about the ending, but let’s not lose sight of what BYU did to put themselves in position to win this ballgame.
Tremendous effort by the Cougars to find a way to get it done. And of course don’t count Notre Dame out... Still a lot of football left to be played!

How many points does Notre Dame need to score to feel comfortable in Provo? 🤔
@Chip_Patterson, @BudElliott3 and @TomFornelli do NOT like BYU’s chances against a Fighting Irish team that has been blowing opponents out 👀
