As America sells out Ukraine and Europe, and begins to dismantle its own democracy in front of our very eyes, it seems like a meaningful day to give a new boost to my Trump novel. Please repost if you are feeling kindly. tinyurl.com/3v3kfkt9

Little Beliton is a remote Dartmoor village (mythical, but in my head represents real beauty spots). A friendly community who support people, each other with life problems. I hope readers enjoy the stories as they get to know the characters. New post-I deleted my website today.
So, they put Trump in a sound-proof box so he doesn't have to hear the boos, or the low-brow pop bollocks around it all. Let's have some football - and Viva L'Espagna!
Dictatorships today rarely admit they hate freedom of expression. I've met CCP leaders who swear that not only do they believe in free media but that the media is free in China. So, for once, a dictator (or rather his son) who says "I do NOT believe in a free press". Refreshing.

British politics today. Nobody finds this unusual. An election that could decide the fate of the nation for the next few years. 'England Your England' (a George Orwell essay worth reading for insights into this strange, infantile people).
What a truly extraordinary victory for Iran:

Definitely a change of meaning ahead in the dictionaries for the word "ceasefire". In 2026, "ceasefire" means continuing to shoot, bomb, and kill as usual until journalists retrieve their sense of reality and report "the war continues." See Gaza, Lebanon, too, among others.

This sounds to me very much like confirmation that China will attack Taiwan in the near future and that Trump better not do anything about it, which he won't, of course. From The Guardian's website this morning.
No one says it better than Macron, the closest we Europeans have yet come to a philosopher king at the head of one of our nations. Vive l'Europe!
Vive notre Europe !
My incoherent British compatriots: A big majority of UK voters are now in favour of rejoining the European Union. Yesterday, they gave an overwhelming local elections victory to the racist and xenophobic clowns who took Britain out of the EU in the first place (Guardian graphic)
This is why the six left-wing parties in France liable to stand in next year's elections have a combined vote of between 25%-30%. Alas.

This is who your administration is warmly and frenetically supporting, dear America. theguardian.com/world/2026/a…
It will be thus. Another Centrist will be the next French President. Goodbye to the extremes, right and left. And please, friends, no lectures on opinion polls (which are almost always right), changing moods, undeclared candidates, and so on. Just check back here in April 2027.
It's official! You are now on the US administration's formally approved and promoted social media platform. Come here for the Truth about America! 😉

We'll always have Paris ... Whatever else you hear about tonight's local French elections, especially any successes of the extreme right, still it is that the candidate of Le Pen's fascistic ex-National Front has received an estimated 1.5% of the vote in the capital city🤣🤣🤣
