I don’t think I’d had a passion project in my life before this.
Writing my few stories, working with other writers and then the editing/curating with the team has been the absolute privilege of a lifetime.

Beyond the print run in soft and hardcover, a few copies are being bound by hand.
Special editions for the contributing authors and others are being commissioned from rebinding artists who work in leather and thread to bring Loot to life as the spellbinding book it deserves.

has anyone built a “vibe writing” app yet?
- core UX as a voice to text transcription service - one button to press to start talking
- can talk at both the content level (telling the story / writing the post), but also talk at the meta level (“let’s weave this part in later in the story”, “I’m rambling here but let’s make sure this is clear and clean”)
- writes into of a shared canvas: like a Google doc, or even better, builds a file structure like a github repo with sections/chapters + meta notes on the ongoing work + stuff like a style.md and outline.md file
I’m sure versions of this exist but am surprised how all the current ones I’ve found seem more for business saas: like meeting notetaker stuff like @meetgranola, or doctor visit transcription apps, or raw speech to text utilities without a broader opinionated UX wrapping it
I want like a wrapper UX around cursor that makes it work for writing, and that works for people who are not technical — never requires them to install anything complex, nor make confusing decisions, nor setup integrations with GitHub etc, and surely never requires them to open an overwhelming desktop app

- Story / Book / Post / Memoir / Etc
- Nested within a file structure that makes it easy to have a human or AI dip into it to add and edit and revise

I wrote and contributed to the Book quoted below, and I'm so excited for the upcoming print.

Loot is where I started, and Loot is where I stand.
I was introduced to collaborative storytelling through @lootproject and "thou mayest" mentality.
CC0 projects have struggled to find momentum without a designated captain to steer the ship, but to us, @timshel stood at the helm. A vision loud and clear to write the histories of the Realms and tell the tale of the Lootverse genesis.
I was onboarded to NFTs and Loot in the same instance when @CaygeonEh announced his Banners project, another thread in the high-fantasy tapestry of the Loot.
I could not have had a better landing pad, and soon thereafter, the Knights of Ser Anthony were formed, many of whom are tagged in the list below, and I found friends who shared a vision of a decentralized future and a storybook world that grows with us.
Across 66 stories and chapters there are 142,762 words contributed by @ticklishart, @fabianstelzer, @gogibear, @raulonastool, @niftypins, @PinkysMusing, Chromesthete, @aloothero, a_glossolaliac, @tylerharries, @nicabar, @wenl_01a1, @ReviloTC, ravens_anon, F0olish_swami, @BannersNft (Caygeon), @WoodHandsRay, @0xStaxRO, @andre_sampa_7 (my On-Chain code cracking partner), TheLorecraftersGuild, yazalight, @tonylongname, @O_Excess, myself, and so many more I'm sure I've missed and that is not including the cover designer, the typsetting team, and all the amazing projects that have spawned from Loot and helped contribute to the expanding Lootverse.

I think the universe has a way of showing you what you should be doing.
For example when something feels easy means you have talent & the universe is telling you you should keep going.
When ppl respond positively to what you are doing, universe is telling you you are on the right track.
Your job is to show up. And try enough things to allow the universe to show you.
