That quote only works if Rome has already proven that its system is the full meal. It has not.
Jesus warned about religious leaders who elevate tradition over the word of God, not the other way around (Mark 7:8-13).
The Bereans were called noble for testing teaching by Scripture (Acts 17:11), and Scripture says it equips the man of God for every good work (2 Timothy 3:16-17).
So no, reading and testing by God’s word is not “studying the menu.” It is how you keep from being served counterfeit food.
If your “meal” includes papal supremacy, Marian dogmas, purgatory, indulgences, and prayers to departed saints, then more ritual does not mean more Christ.
A bigger plate is not a better meal.
If the menu came from the King, and your church keeps serving dishes He and His apostles never put on it, the problem is not that others study the menu. The problem is that you learned to call additions “fullness.”

Being Middle Eastern does not make Islam true. It makes Islam easier to test, and it fails.
Jesus, the prophets, and the apostles came first, and Muhammad comes 600 years later contradicting them.
The apostles are earlier than your Hadith. The Bible was circulating across the known world long before Islam existed. The Qur’an was standardized under Uthman while other codices were destroyed, so the “perfectly preserved” line is not the flex you think it is.
And the so-called Islamic Golden Age was not proof of truth either. Civilizations can produce science, art, and wealth while still being built on conquest, dhimmi humiliation, slavery, and fear.
So let’s stop pretending geography, later claims, and nostalgia equal revelation.
The real test is simple:
Who looks more like God, Jesus who loved enemies, forgave sinners, and gave Himself for the world, or Muhammad, whose religion spread by political power, military expansion, and a book that denies the crucifixion at the center of history?
One gives grace, truth, and salvation.
The other gives control, contradiction, and denial.
That is the difference.

What really matters the most is what does your god say?
Highlighted in Yellow from Quran 65:4
Allah (your god) is talking to Mohammad here saying that he can get a divorce from an immature girl who hasn't had her period yet.
I will post the Tafsirs as well below so you can see that this is a real issue for Islam.
If the god of your Quran tells you that it's okay, then there is something clearly wrong here, because God is supposed to be Holy and perfect without sin.
Child molestation is a clearly hurting children and is a sin.

Partly true, then overstated.
True:
In the Davidic kingdom, the king’s mother could hold an honored role.
Not proven:
Therefore Mary is the “Queen of Heaven.”
From scripture alone, the safest and most truthful thing to say is:
Mary is the blessed mother of the Messiah, highly favored by God, and worthy of honor.
Here is the real problem:
But the Bible does not explicitly call her the Queen of Heaven, and the exact phrase “queen of heaven” in scripture is actually used for a condemned pagan figure, not for Mary.
So if we stay tightly tied to the original-language text, the your "Catholic" claim is more theological inference than biblical statement.

That's not where the violence comes from. All the violence stems from the middle east due to their religion.
I am not an atheist, but Islam is the worlds worst religion and it's all based on corruption from 1,400 years ago.
If you took Christianity and allowed to spread freely in the middle east, and those countries became Christian instead of Islamic, you would not have these issues.
You would have peace and nation building and the middle east would be a Christian block of nations that would build together and be friends with Israel.
That's the absolute truth.

No verse has to use the exact phrase “Scripture alone” for the principle to be true.
The real question is this:
What is the only source in the New Testament called God-breathed, unbreakable, and sufficient to fully equip the man of God?
That answer is Scripture, not later church tradition.
The verses Catholics quote do not prove later Roman traditions are infallible. They only prove that the apostles taught both orally and in writing while they were alive.
Once the apostles died, the only universally accessible, fixed, public, testable apostolic deposit we possess is Scripture.
And Scripture repeatedly shows that human tradition can go wrong:
Mark 7:8-13
Jesus says men can leave the commandment of God and hold to human tradition, even making the word of God void by tradition.
Acts 17:11
The Bereans were called noble because they tested even Paul’s teaching by the Scriptures.
Galatians 1:8
Even an angel is cursed if he preaches a different gospel than the one already delivered.
2 Timothy 3:15-17
Scripture is able to make one wise for salvation and fully equip the man of God for every good work.
So the issue is not whether some apostolic teaching was once oral. Of course it was.
The issue is whether later institutions can claim equal authority for doctrines that cannot be demonstrated from the God-breathed writings.
That meme never proves that. It just assumes it.
**************************************************
If tradition is equal to Scripture,
then answer me this:
***************************************************
PLEASE ANSWER ALL 6 OF THESE
QUESTIONS FOR ME:
1) Which traditions are truly apostolic, and how do you prove it from the 1st century?
2) Where does Scripture teach that later bishops are infallible preservers of unwritten doctrine?
3) Why did Jesus warn so strongly against tradition nullifying God’s word if tradition is to be trusted automatically?
4) Why are believers in Acts praised for testing an apostle by Scripture rather than by an infallible magisterium?
5) If 2 Thessalonians 2:15 proves Roman Catholic tradition, why does it not equally prove Eastern Orthodox tradition, which also claims apostolic tradition?
6) If two churches both claim sacred tradition but contradict each other, what finally judges between them?

We have these wonderful tools in 2026 so that we can have a greater understanding on what they meant back then.
We don't have to comply with someone else telling us things when we can look into things deeply for ourselves. It's wonderful.
1) blueletterbible.org (Goes back to the original languages that were used for scripture - Hebrew, Aramaic, Greek)
2) ChatGPT Translation on-the-fly from the original Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek. Can also translate from a 1st century cultural understanding to today.

I have a life vick. I was at the store and eating dinner...
I’m not saying the Church’s practices have zero Scripture behind them.
I’m saying the New Testament never gives a numbered "7 sacraments" system.
Baptism and the Lord’s Supper are directly instituted and commanded by Jesus for the whole Church. These are the only two Protestants follow.
Marriage is a separate thing between two people, not a church thing.
The other rites have biblical roots, but Scripture doesn’t clearly present them as universally required sacraments that convey grace in the same technical way.
So the debate is less ‘Scripture vs no Scripture’ and more "what counts as a sacrament, and who has authority to define that category".

Julie, John 20:23 is important, but it doesn’t say “go to a priest for absolution.”
In Greek the result is passive:
“they are forgiven” (by God) and “they have been retained.” Jesus gives the apostles authority to declare forgiveness where repentance and faith are real, and to refuse false assurance where repentance is missing.
The Bible repeatedly shows confession to God for forgiveness: 1 John 1:9, Ps 32:5, Luke 18:13–14.
And it says we can go directly to God because Jesus is the one mediator: 1 Tim 2:5, Heb 4:16.
However, we should confess to one another for healing (Jas 5:16), but only God actually forgives sins.

It's not cherry picking. It's finding out what we knew 2,000 years ago and seeing if they are in the Quran today and they are.
So, therefore the Quran isn't from God.
I am not an atheist, I know it seems that way, but I am a believer in Christ, but when I look at the Quran it's just man's own knowledge from 1,400 to 2,000 years ago.
If a book is supposed to be from God and thus delivered from an Angel, it's not going to have information in it from 2,000 years ago that man himself already knew.
People don't know it today, because we have modern science today, but modern science wasn't around 2,000 years ago.
Man's own knowledge from 1,400 to 2,000 years ago isn't going to be God's own knowledge.
For example in an adult man the Quran talks about semen in a man's body being created between the back bone and ribs, that's not what we know today, right? It's made in the testicles, not between the back bone and ribs.
This is because this is from man's own knowledge.

As an atheist he died and what happened to him was really amazing, but also life changing.

Here is a little deeper-dive....
You are conditioned to think this is your specific church or denomination, but that's not how God thinks.
What “My ekklesia” means in Matthew 16:18
When Jesus says: “I will build My ekklesia,” in 1st-century terms it means:
🧠 “I will form and grow My gathered people, My assembly, My community.”
It implies:
-real people
-real gatherings
-public identity
-loyalty to Him
It does not by itself specify:
❌ a later developed administrative structure
❌ a guaranteed never-failing leadership line
❌ a particular future denomination name

Watch how the Quran is just a bunch of man-made junk from before the Quran was written.
This is just more evidence that the Quran wasn't given by any angel or God to Mohammad. It's a fairytale.
This comes from a 2nd-century Gnostic teacher named Basilides and it's all false.
The Theory:
He taught that Jesus was a divine being who did not have a physical body. When the Romans came to arrest him, Jesus performed a "switch."
The Substitute:
According to Basilides, Simon of Cyrene (the man the Bible says carried the cross) was transformed to look like Jesus.
The Result:
The Romans crucified Simon of Cyrene while the "real" Jesus stood by and laughed at them. This closely mirrors the "it was made to appear so" language in Surah 4:157.

The cool thing today in 2026, we have a name for that "coprophagy" and many animals do this..
✅ 1) “Eating poop” is a real thing in animals (coprophagy), and it’s common
Some animals need it to get nutrients they missed the first time through digestion (classic example: rabbits and many rodents).
In other cases it helps animals pick up gut microbes or extra calories, especially in the wild.
So the behavior itself is not some special “pig only” thing (Muslims are the ones that are uneducated, so I hope this helps you all).
🔍 2) Pigs are omnivores and will scavenge, but that doesn’t mean pork is feces
Pork you eat is muscle tissue, not whatever the animal ate. The animal’s gut content is removed during processing.
Studies document feces ingestion in pigs (especially piglets), and the wider animal kingdom does similar things for multiple reasons.
🧠 3) “Gross” is not the same as “unsafe”
What matters for safety is:
✅ clean slaughter/processing
✅ proper storage
✅ proper cooking temperature
USDA food safety guidance is very clear on safe handling and cooking of pork.
📌 4) The same logic would ban a lot of foods
Chickens peck at manure.
1) Dogs eat poop.
2) Fish eat dead stuff and parasites.
3) Shellfish filter dirty water.
Yet people don’t judge safety by “what it might eat sometimes,” they judge by food safety controls and cooking.

Genesis never says Abraham settled in Mecca.
It places Abraham in Canaan:
Sarah dies in Hebron and Abraham is buried at Machpelah near Mamre (Hebron).
Genesis says Hagar and Ishmael were sent away from Beersheba, Ishmael lived in the wilderness of Paran, and his wife was from Egypt.
Standard Bible geography places Paran in the Sinai region, not Mecca.
So ‘Paran = Saudi Hejaz’ and ‘Abraham lived in Mecca’ are later Islamic claims, not what Genesis reports.
Remember the book of Genesis was written 1131 years before the Quran was written and we have the dead sea scrolls that validate what the book of Genesis says...

Traditions of men are what the Catholic Church teaches.
What I have given you is the original languages deep-dive. This shows what Greek really means. The NT was written in Greek and Aramaic originally, so that's what I go to.
I love the Catholic people, but the Church really has drifted away over time away from scripture.
So, this isn't protestant information.
This isn't Catholic information.
This is directly from the original Greek and Aramaic.
It's not what I did or not anything biased.
Like I said, go and look it up with a Strong's concordance or blueletterbible.org
YOU SHOULD ALWAYS BE OPENED TO QUESTIONING EVERYTHING. YOU SHOULD NEVER HAVE A CLOSED MIND.
I CAN'T FORCE YOU TO DO WHAT YOU NEED TO DO, ALL I CAN DO IS PRAY FOR YOU.
AGAIN, THESE ARE NOT MY OPINIONS, NOR ARE THEY JUST THE OPINIONS OF PROTESTANTS, BUT THEY ARE THE VERY NON-BIASED TRUTH FROM SCRIPTURE.
