Doesn’t help that to save money they hired Nigerians to calibrate the models.

I think your options are what you’ve already listed - .308/7.62 AR10 platform, which would be my first suggestion because I like rounding out the NATO calibers as a baseline. The problem is what you’ve already laid out - as you go up in caliber form 5.56 you go from a platform meant to be light and easy to patrol/infil with to something you want to drive to wherever you’re going to shoot from - which to me kind of defeats the point of the AR platform to begin with.
Sooo… with that in mind, if you didn’t want to go .308 or 6.5 for whatever reason, my first suggestion would be switching to a bolt gun, but you already said you have those and don’t want to change platforms so I’d tend to lean into the lighter cartridges you mentioned. .22, or 6mm, or maybe even 17HMR? Super light, capacity for days - .22 is cheap and plentiful, .17 shoots like a laser, and both are easily suppressed. I’ve never messed with 6mm. I think the light cartridges would be a fun option.

That should win him huge points with his base.

The idea is for the tribal identity of the community, state, and Christianity to override the identity of race. The left has worked about 80 (?) years to make race the primary identity, then gender, sexual orientation, obesity, etc.

You should take a look at how color revolutions take place. This is literally how it goes. Maidan as the most recent clear example.

I didn’t know that. While I don’t have strong feelings about Brazilian politics in general, it does seem strange to organize a system like that as I would expect it to advantage the person on the losing end of round one by rallying supporters while disadvantaging a candidate with a strong lead by making many voters feel they don’t need to show up since it’s in the bag.
You’d think this wouldn’t be an issue with compulsory voting like Brazil has, but a several point swing in turnout would imply the compulsory nature isn’t ironclad by any means and elections are still subject to changes in turn out.
You’ll get no pushback from me regarding the lack of direction and coherent efforts from the GOP, especially compared to the hive-mind that is the DNC.
It’s not about what I can read, or even what most people can read. Both parties try to capture the lowest common denominator and if you’d like to impose literacy or competency tests to vote I’m all ears.
Imagine thinking you’re arguing with a bot but continuing to do so. How much of your day, roughly, would you say you spend yelling at clouds?
