Nancy Green died in 1923 at 89, one of America’s first black millionaires. Born a slave, she became a wealthy superstar in advertising as the living trademark of “Aunt Jemima”. She used her stature to advocate against poverty & equal rights. A success story now erased by @PepsiCo
