He swallowed the remainder of his food. "Yup, definitely Batman. My previous points still stand, by the way. And I'm sure you don't have wax in your ears."

"No, that doesn't mean I didn't get him killed..." He meant Wally. "Sure, he came back from that Speed Force plane years later and he keeps saying it was his choice, but I can't help thinking if I'd only done something, maybe he wouldn't have-" His logic sounded very familiar.

"Oh, another Batman variant, how fun..." he spoke mostly to himself while eating. "Hi there, yep, that's me, the one and only, the Flash, fastest man alive, and I suppose you're far from your home universe, am I right?" he said in a laid-back yet know-it-all voice.

"This is where you're wrong. What I've done, me taking control of things, was while he was gone on a months-long mission. It was my choice to step up and lead. That didn't stop me from making the same Batman mistakes."

"I'd argue he taught me too well, to the point where I started pushing my friends away, lying to them, manipulating them, using them for the sake of the mission, even if it meant endangering all of us. I even blew up my old HQ. Thankfully Wally knocked some sense into me."
