Next up is this interesting pale ale from @ToastAle. It's a jolly nice beer, and if they're doing all the good they say they are then I hope I get to try more of their brews for future #boozeInTheBath. It's #vegan, made with surplus bread, + all profits go to charitable causes.

Have you ever heard of a beer made from surplus bread? @ToastAle from UK does just that. According to the statistics, worldwide, about 44% of bread is wasted. But Toast Ale buys surplus bread from bakeries and makes refreshing beer. The bread replaces about 25% of malted barley. Spent grain is reused for animal feed and composting. This has saved millions of slices from going to landfills. I share interesting ways of living green. Exciting news for our Microbrewery! @ToastAle has just installed an impressive 5HL brew-bloc turnkey kit - the heartbeat of the operation. It will brew with surplus bread from our on-site bakery, the Baker’s Room (opening soon), to minimise food waste in the production process.
