BREAKING: US equity ETFs have attracted +$1.4 trillion in inflows over the last 12 months, their largest 12-month inflow on record.
Tech funds alone have attracted +$65 billion, more than double the inflows into cyclical equity ETFs.
At the same time, defensive equity ETFs have drawn +$25 billion.
In the preceding 12-month period, US equity ETFs attracted +$850 billion.
By comparison, during years 1 and 2 of the current bull market, inflows totaled +$300 billion and +$650 billion, respectively.
Investors are piling into US equity funds at a record pace.
