**THIS IS THE LAST CHANCE SALOON** Our club have acted from day one as though the new stadium is already a done deal. Surveys built around theoretical scenarios, diluting the voices of the very people who fill Old Trafford and have devoted their lives to this club. There is a rot, a decay, a sense of hopelessness all due to the Glazers and Ratcliffe. They have sucked the life and dignity out of our club. **Make no mistake. We are at a crossroads** Act now or wave goodbye to the Manchester United you once knew. Over the coming weeks, we will lay out clear plans. Plans that demand **ACTION** And those actions will be down to **YOU, the fanbase.** Not The 1958. Not another supporters' group. Not somebody else. **YOU** You might not like us. You might think we should smash the place up or somehow empty a 75,000 seat stadium. We don't care what you think of us. It's all irrelevant. This is bigger than The 1958. Bigger than egos, personalities and petty differences. **Get behind the action or STFU when the club tramples all over you.** Stop waiting for somebody else to fight your battles. Because if we sit back and everything we've warned about becomes reality, don't start complaining that nobody did anything. **You were warned. You had a choice.** The plans will be crystal clear. The actions will be crystal clear. The question is whether enough Reds give a shit to follow through. **More to follow. Get your notifications on.** The 1958 🇾🇪

Since 2005 Premier League clubs have had a total interest cost on borrowings and financial debt of £3.5bn. One club and one set of owners is responsible for 35% of the total. #Glazernomics Figures per @valuball

"Sell United and f*k off home" sing MUFC fans, the only good thing about the club right now. And it's right. The Glazers have made their money many times over for 21 years. Fans never wanted it and that takeover should never have been allowed. Do the right thing: sell up and go.

Berrada and Wilcox out of the door first. Glazers and Ratcliffe to follow. Who is in manager's chair does not really matter, as we've seen over last 13 years

This is not ‘just a football story’ but rather a story of a city-region in northern England aligning its economy into the orbit of an authoritarian state in the Gulf, accused of human rights abuses at home + terrible war crimes in Sudan. theguardian.com/uk-news/2026…

I’ll be lambasted for pointing this out, but #MUFC sold its soul when our greatest manager ever was still in charge. He was the first with the, ‘Theres no value in the market’ nonsense. I have so many questions about the £30m he’s been paid and his thirteen year silence.

"As a lead reporter for Manchester United, I was once BANNED from any mention of the Glazers for 10 days, after calling them parasites for what they've done to a great institution." - @MelissaReddy_ (ex-Sky Sports senior reporter) Man Utd is officially a dictatorship.

Manchester City Council need to provide more transparency around the deal concerning the Man City stadium. I would argue it's a public asset and therefore the responsibility of the local authority to ensure it's maximising revenue back to the public purse inews.co.uk/news/man-city-pa…

Glazers fucked our finances but even they weren't stupid enough to compound that by directly targeting our matchgoing fanbase especially at a time when the team were failing on the pitch. Price hikes and aggressive ticketing policies just at the time we should have been circling the wagons. They were warned, but were convinced they knew better – at Urmston, England

The staggering thing, watching #MUFC, is that they went into this season believing they had finally addressed their longstanding weakness in midfield. Three midfielders signed at a total cost of around £150m — two of them starting tonight — and they're outplayed, outrun and outfought in almost every game they play. Hard to see what it's even meant to look like. That's some rebuild

Audit regulator looking into city's accounting shenanigans
Replying to @peters5008 @FT
The FT article reports that the UK Financial Reporting Council (FRC), the audit regulator, has taken over from the ICAEW consideration of Manchester City’s accounts. It is assessing whether there are sufficient grounds to open a formal investigation into the club’s financial statements and BDO’s audits of them. This follows a Premier League independent commission finding that City filed misstated accounts and concealed its true finances from auditors over nine seasons via sham deals worth over £900m. City denies the claims and is appealing.
