Was Tom Ashbrook not the the best thing (next to @KyRyssdal & @TerryGross) on NPR? Not sure what happened but the public is going to miss out on a balanced narrative & a uniquely skilled host:(

I've been missing @tomashbrooknpr's voice so much. Good to hear it again although I wish under different circumstances. "It's been great, and it's not over." Can't wait for your next venture, Tom. teapawt.net/wgbhnews/status/965936…
"I thought that firing was not necessary. They had somebody who ... I may be a dope sometimes, but I'm not a complete dope, and things change, ways change. I'm ready to change, too." @tomashbrooknpr discusses his firing with @beatthepress' @EmilyRooneyWGBH to.wgbh.org/6014DumQi

You are sorely missed. Mornings were often the best part of my day, listening and learning. I sincerely hope you land a new gig soon, and I will be there to support you. Cheers.
