I was a reporter there for 3 years (early in my career) and the journalists and editors were among the most ethical, by-the-book professionals I ever worked for, always considering both sides of a story, and always fact-checking scrupulously. They still do.

Cowardly. So if they endorsed you they would have been unbiased? You are actively attempting to hurt a Central New York business staffed by tax paying Central New York residents - your constituents - because they did their jobs.

Dude, do your homework and research what the pardoned Jan.6 folks have been up to since their release and then talk about having a leg on which to stand.

If not an ad that sides with a rapist, it's one that platforms a mother who sided with her children's rapist and then abandoned them for that rapist. To you that's somehow better? The majority of Americans who disagree with you are "real persons" if you're wondering.
Replying to @realsashastone
Oh hold it. Did Mary Trump side with her young children's arrested and indicted (for rape) sexual abuser, and abandon them for nearly 50 years before calling one of those children a liar in a repulsive political ad that has re-traumatized the family? If so, I missed that.
Replying to @realsashastone
If anyone from either party ran an ad this repulsive every decent human being would condemn it. t shouldn't be "one-sided" outrage, it should be all-sided outrage and the ad needs to be pulled.

There is something deeply grotesque about a bullying mob chanting "USA! USA!" as a protester gets hauled off.

Well, Ethan Hawke is a born and raised Texan, incredibly smart and talented, so, you know, not a bad endorsement.

He disavowed them clearly. What's your point here? Why not ask Trump to clearly and loudly disavow Valarie Putin. He won't and never has, but you give him a pass.
Replying to @realsashastone
What possible reason would you, or your darling, have for reposting this video of a man losing his life?
Replying to @realsashastone
It's not that you "take the bad with the good" it's that you launder the bad. You never speak out when a DoorDash driver is shot, or when he sides with Putin, or sells bogus meme coins to supporters, or pardons people who use money raised for veterans for their plastic surgery.

That's like saying film as an art form and cultural force isn't worthy of discussion.

These five come to mind:
John Cheever, "The Country Husband"
Denis Johnson, "Work"
Kelly Link, "Stone Animals"
Raymond Carver, "Where I'm Calling From"
Dan Chaon, "Big Me"

Gotta say, the piece made you sound intelligent and sympathetic, with an extremely compelling history. Your complaint seems more to do with how someone used the piece against you, which I agree seems both unkind and unfair.
Replying to @realsashastone
Not really true, right? I read that Hollywood reporter piece and it's about the studios cutting you off because of a tweet you sent out. And the profile itself was pretty nuanced and respectful, not a "hit piece" at all. Its main source is you, and it speaks your viewpoint.

I found that astounding. An Olympic level of asshole-dom.
