One of my main goals this cycle is to accumulate as much of my high-conviction assets as possible while farming the most profitable airdrops along the way. A few years ago, I didn't really understand this. I was happy farming LPs, lending protocols, and stable yields, and that's fine. But let's be realistic: Money follows money. This cycle, there's one category that has clearly outperformed every other in terms of airdrop profitability: Perpetual DEXs. If you were early to Hyperliquid, Lighter, or Aster, you know exactly what I mean. Many early users earned life-changing airdrops. Soon, Variational and Extended will likely join that list. But here's the important lesson: I'm not telling you to farm Variational or Extended today. In my opinion, the easy money has already been made. The real skill isn't farming everything, the real skill is knowing when to farm and what to farm. The best opportunities usually appear when: ➡️Nobody is talking about the project. ➡️The points campaign is still hidden, or only a few weeks old. ➡️The team has strong fundamentals and credible backing. Don't spread your capital across ten random protocols. Focus on your highest-conviction opportunities. If you're going to gamble on a casino, play in Las Vegas, not in a random casino in the middle of the Bronx. The second question I get asked is: "How do you farm without losing money?" If you're an active trader, organic trading is perfectly fine. During its first 3 days of life, @monetrix_xyz is already outperforming the flagship products of many similar protocols. In many cases, those protocols display the average net yield over the last 7 days (which is totally fair). However, that currently penalizes Monetrix, because funding rates were extremely favorable during days 5–10, and the protocol wasn't live yet to capture them. USDM is already approaching $1.5M TVL, with a current cap of $2M. Imo, the vault will be fully allocated very soon.
