Shocked by the negativity to be honest after tonight. We created plenty (39-22 in shots in our favour) and competed well. We just didn’t get the bounces and DeRidder had a great game (can’t believe he didn’t get the MOM). 9 times out of 10 we win that game.

So Lucas Brine has had one start this season. I understand why but that’s not sustainable. Surely now, at the beginning of November it’s worth bringing in another import Netminder?

Frustrating game. Started well, then a gut punch at the end of the 1st and it derailed us. Notts hit the cross bar when they were 2-0 up and if that’s goes in, it would have been game over. Diffley finally gets one and we just became lighter and we’re the better team from there.

If the EIHL was won on being able to cycle the puck in the offensive zone without taking a shot, we’d have won the league already.

I’ll be amazed if we actually score tonight.

A very good display. Storm pushed back and played desperate but we didn’t break. The 62/91/8 line was great again tonight, just hunting pucks all night. Great to see #63 on the scoresheet, really deserve that tonight.

I tell you what, some captain Matt Alvaro is. Takes the dumbest penalty at 2-0 up and your team is cruising and we capitalise on the PP and it gives us life to go on and win the game!

I’ve never been so conflicted after a win. After 40 mins we were awful offensively, I didn’t see a buy in at all and only one word to describe it in simple terms was boring. Then we in the 3rd we show some urgency, play with a physical edge and desperation and it works.

I was trying to be positive then I’ve just watched this, just far too easy.

I haven’t watched the game but only generating 21 shots on goal, it’s always going to be hard to win the game. Some perspective, we win tomorrow and we’ll be topping the group with two to play.
