In September 2011, ahead of the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, President Barack Obama sent a personal letter to Prime Minister Stephen Harper thanking Canada and Canadians for their help during Operation Yellow Ribbon.
He wrote: “In one of the darkest moments of our history, Canada stood by our side and showed itself to be a true friend.” “We remember with gratitude and affection how the people of Canada offered us the comfort of friendship and extraordinary assistance that day and in the following days by opening their airports, homes and hearts to us.” “On this anniversary, we recognize all the gestures of friendship and solidarity shown to us by Canada and its people and give thanks for our continuing special relationship.”
Under Operation Yellow Ribbon, more than 33,000 passengers on 224 diverted flights were rerouted to 17 Canadian airports, including Vancouver, Gander, Halifax, Goose Bay, Whitehorse, Edmonton and Calgary.
Twenty-five years later, I still remember exactly where I was.
Thinking of my American friends and neighbours, the lives lost, the families forever changed, and everyone who carries the memory of that day.
From your neighbours to the north we remember with you. 🇨🇦🇺🇸

I've with Salesforce since 2011. Every once in a while, a piece of tech comes along where you watch the demo and it instantly clicks. This is one of those “of course!” moments. Just works. Come see it at #Dreamforce
Welcome Agentforce Coworker. 🤝
Half your morning is tabs.
Ask: “What’s important today?”
It pulls the 9am, the $950K, and the billing dispute you’d have missed. Then it just acts.
Coworker: Ask. Find. Act. Close.
See it at Dreamforce. #DF26 #Agentforce

Software was always created by humans, for humans.
Now it's created by humans and agents.
For humans and agents.
And you may never have to log in to use it.
Not even Salesforce—which is now open to every human, agent, and platform with Headless 360.

To all of my friends and colleagues celebrating Diwali, may the festival of lights remind us that even in the darkest moments , hope and positivity prevails.
Please cancel the flight AC761 on the 17th so I can book an alternative. Do the right thing @AirCanada

Replying to @AirCanada
Either cancel all the flights and actually announce it, or give people refunds in cash so they can rebook properly. Why is it that airlines get this wrong every time
The Bear Season 4, Tires Season 2 and the teaser for Spaceballs 2 all bring much needed light in these dark dark days. I miss precendented times

When people don't stand up to bad leadership, it's rarely because they don't care. It's often because they feel powerless.
Learned helplessness is the pattern of giving up when we learn that events in our lives are beyond our control.
The answer is not to accept defeat. It's to find new avenues for influence.
