If he’s not ready to play, why the fuck have we signed him? We don’t have the squad depth or quality to buy luxury, young, developmental projects for £30m. Bournemouth played Rayan when he was raw and look at him already. I hate Farke sometimes.
A polite request from Leeds United manager Daniel Farke. Please stop asking him about Jean-Matteo Bahoya! #LUFC | #BBCFootball

Even Restore voters are saying this is a bad take. Even our own supporters struggle to get on board with the fact that people should have agency and have control over their own lives, including people who gamble.
Gambling is not evil, and a Restore Britain Government will reduce taxes on the industry. Adults should be free to make their own choices about how they spend their own money - a wild thing for a political party to say, I know. Britain has a successful gambling industry that supports local economies all over the country. In my constituency alone we have horse racing, a greyhound stadium, plenty of arcades and more. We should be encouraging responsible operators to thrive, not taxing them into dust. Problem gambling is an issue and should be properly addressed. But punishing an entire industry, costing thousands of jobs, for the actions of a very small number is not the answer. Restore Britain will back British gambling.

I wonder how many lifetimes I would have to work before I paid £10,000,000,000 in income tax.
I had a great conversation with the UK Prime Minister @AndyBurnham, and we are grateful to Britain for its unwavering, strong, and truly leading support. Today, Britain made a strong decision to provide an additional £10 billion in financial support – £7 billion in economic support over the next three years, and another £3 billion in British export support, primarily for the supply of much-needed weapons that will strengthen our protection of lives. This is on top of the annual support Britain already provides to Ukraine. A truly strong and very timely step – coming right as Russia needs to see and feel that Ukraine will not be left alone to deal with the problems Russia is so eager to escalate. Every step to strengthen Ukraine brings Russia closer to realizing that it must end this war of its own making. Of course, Andy and I also discussed sanctions policy, and Britain will remain principled on this – setting an example that matters globally. I am grateful to Britain, to Prime Minister Andy Burnham and his team, and to every person around the world who understands that standing with Ukraine is the right thing to do – that it means being on the right side of history. 🇺🇦🇬🇧

Someone is going to have to go to prison, or at least lose their job, or there is no reason this won’t just continue to happen.

Britain’s new minimum wage: £27,456 a year. Higher-rate income tax kicks in at £50,270. Wage compression the Soviet Union could only have dreamed of.
🚨 NEW: John Healey will increase the minimum wage for over 21s from £12.71 to around £13.20

Hahahaa, of course. You’ve been calling us racist Nazis for months. It’s pretty clear you only want our votes, but you don’t want to do anything we want.

We’re gonna look at these results against Sunderland, Palace and Man Utd and see it as 6 dropped points. #LUFC

Again, the team playing in Europe midweek has more energy in the final 20 mins of the match. #LUFC

We’ve played 3 of the most out of form teams in the league in the last 4 matches and we haven’t won one of them and we’re playing shite again today. I don’t think it’s out of the realms of possibility that we’re in a relegation battle this season. #LUFC

All these balls over the top. Wouldn’t it be cool to have a rapid attacker who cost £30m in the summer to be running onto these and putting the fear of god into opposition defenders? #LUFC

I said whomever signed Harry Wilson would regret it back in May. Devastated that my club signed him. #LUFC
Replying to @TyUps11
Harry Wilson was crap for the last few months of the season. Had a good first half, then opponents figured him out and shut him down. Was probably playing harder because was gonna be OOC and was looking for a big pay day. Whoever signs Wilson will regret, I guarantee it.
