Chris Hipkins claims that the pandemic caused ram raids.
I got COVID twice. Luckily it didn't make me start ram raiding like everyone else, according to Chris Hipkins.

After admitting that his Govt was too slow on youth crime, Chris Hipkins is trying to take credit for this Govt’s 85% reduction in ram raids. Kiwis will remember 2022, with nearly two ram raids a day - more than 500% more than 2018. Labour are soft on crime.

Hipkins all over the show on petrol taxes. He can deny it all he likes but there’s a cost to their freeze of $3.2 billion. It’s not even mentioned in their fiscal plan. They now claim it’s $1.8 billion (and haven’t accounted for it) but won’t even show how they got that!

Chris Hipkins and Labour are misleading Kiwis when they say the only tax they are taking to the election is a Capital Gains Tax.
This is untrue.
They have already announced a $5 billion Business Tax with their announced axing of Investment Boost.
And they have made it clear they will put back in place the Renters Tax by removing interest deductibility for landlords.
Labour might think they can get away with misleading Kiwis - but Kiwis know this is the same old tax and spend Labour Party.
You can’t trust Labour on Tax.

If Christopher Luxon got on a plane Labour would have been criticising the PM for his fuel usage. Labour are barking at passing cars while National is ensuring fuel supply for Kiwis and targeted support to those who need it the most.

It is with a heavy heart that I send my thoughts and condolences to the family that have lost two of their loved ones in the Welcome Bay slip.
Our thoughts as a country are with you.
Thank you to teams that worked so hard to recover them, I know how you will be feeling.

At the select committee today, I told Ginny that I thought gang membership had increased by about 2,000 under Labour.
I was wrong. It was 4,000, or 75%.
No wonder they were so upset.

This one slipped below the radar, but is well the worth!
Oriini Kaipara butchers Te Pāti Māori’s opposition of the juries (age of excusal) amendment bill and gets destroyed by National’s Tom Rutherford, who picks apart Kaipara, mocks Takuta Ferris, calls out the hypocrisy of Te Pāti Māori and still has time to highlight the positives of the bill while taking down Labour’s Arena Williams.
Brilliant stuff!

Have the Greens already written a letter to the judge asking them to let off the person who smashed the window at Winston’s house?

Tom Rutherford absolutely rips Green Party MP Ricardo Menéndez March, for writing a letter in support of barrister Hannah Hedlund, who went on a vandalism spree of National Party electorate offices, which included the Prime Minister’s east Auckland office.

The NZNO Union cancelled a Christchurch strike 45 mins before it started, meaning 85 patients lost care they couldn’t rebook.
On their own Facebook group, it was praised as creating “chaos” and “bloody beautiful tactics comrades.”
