Happy to share our new paper: we found that GABA reduced uptake of VMAT2 substrates in synaptic vesicles and we discovered that most human midbrain dopamine neurons express GAT1 suggesting they may co-release GABA. Work by @Sivasrinivasan and Fabian L.
